Sry if this is already here just wondering anyone with a note 5 not using a case? I had one on for at least 2 weeks love the case but decided to take it off this phone is just so gorgeous without one and for some reason the case I had on got way to much dust in it when I took it off my phone was rly dusty.

I do not have a case. I do have a skin on the back just to keep the back from scratches but that's it. Gorilla glass 4 holds up well and the S-Pen works better without anything on the front.

I have a square trade plan on the phone for drops.

My Wife has a DBrand skin on her Note 5 with a Rhino Shield bumper to protect the corners. That is all.

I hate cases. I hate messing up my phone, too. That being said, I'm not ALL that careful, but I get to carry a purse that the phone goes in...I have fumbled, but I know the consequences. I do put a case on when I travel- scared of being stranded and having a cracked screen and I don't bring my wireless chargers with me, and I don't want everyone in coach looking at my screen

Haven't used a case since day one. I did however apply a leather skin (DBrand) to the back of my Note 5 to enhance the grip and prevent it from sliding, especially on my desk.
If at all possible, I prefer the clean look on my devices. ;)

I've always carried phones nude in a leather belt holster. With the Note 5, it feels kind of slippery.

Bought an Otterbox Commuter case that I carried in a larger leather belt holster. Phone felt large but impervious to damage. Ballistic glass to protect screen.

Currently have a replacement Note 5, absolutely nude. Feels slim but slippery. Waiting for the Spigen thin case that hopefully will fit in smaller holster. If not, might go nude in small leather belt holster or go back to Commuter.

I like this phone all sleek and nude... BUT... it is VULNERABLE!

YMMV.

Thanks for the replies. This is my first phone I just feel it's to nice to keep in a case and I do have the protection plan so if something happens it's covered lol. And it feels easier to hold without a case in my opinion

I use a clear film on the back and a tempered glass screen on the front. The phone is too good looking to cover up and make look like a brick.
On the Note 6 I will use a clear film front and back.

I've had different cases on it since I first got it as well as screen protectors on the front and the back, but I'm starting to want to use it without a case more and more here lately. Right now, I have a clear case, but even that is getting to be too much. If I didn't care so much about the camera module as well as possibly dropping and shattering it, I wouldn't ever use a case. I don't know, I might take the leap because this phone is a work of art, in my opinion.

I'm using a case for the first time ever (had a slab phone since the original Samsung Instict) because the insurance is so high on phone now. With Sprint, at $13/mo + $200 deductible, I would actually be paying more for insurance over two years than the phone itself.

I picked up a Tech21 Evo Tactical case because it provides good protection while adding very little bulk. Even with the case, it's not much thicker than the naked HTC One M8 that I used previously.

I have a few different cases that I use anytime I'm our of the house or office. I find it easier to handle with a case on it but enjoy the phone without one while at home or at the office.

I have my Note 5 for about 5 months. Never used case and screen protector. No scratches or any blemishes so far. Never dropped it. I am very careful and ensure that I have a positive grip on the phone when I pick it up or pull it out of pocket. Recently I bought a neoprene sleeve on Amazon and put the phone in the sleeve when I am outdoors.

If i could find a good bumper for it i might try it without a full case, i still worry quite a bit about the back glass as well as the screen, so i can't go w out something.

Sent with my white Note5 with nonremovable back and no SDcard!

Very very picky about cases. I agree with others above that the N5 is far too beautiful to cover up. For me, that extends to having a tempered glass protector that you can see 5 feet away. This also detracts from the beautiful design as well.

All that said, I need some amount of protection. I own about 5-6 cases and until recently the Ringke Ultra Slim was my choice. The Ringke is an absolutely minimalist cover for the back and sides, providing a nice slightly rubbery surface to ensure no-slip handling. All of my other cases make the N5 look and feel humongous.

Recently, I got a Samsung promotion and was really challenged finding things on their site (it was "Samsung Money") that I really needed. So, with about $30 left completely unspent, I threw it at a Samsung case that I once read a review on, saying that it' was amazingly minimalistic, but expensive. With nothing else to spend the funds on, I bought it. It's beautiful.

The Samsung "case" is really just a phone "back" and "corner bumpers". That's it. The sides are totally exposed, the back is the exact color and look of my Black Sapphire N5, it's contoured perfectly, and there is a bit of protection on the corners. Due to the slight edge it provides on the sides, it's much easier to hold than a naked N5. IMO, this case is so good, and unique, I'd throw down my own cash for it. This is exclusively for picky N5 owners, definitely not for the Otterbox "my phone needs to survive the apocalypse" crowd.

More more thing: I exclusively use a film protector on the screen. I still have a number of glass protectors left over from experimentation, but I just can't get past the look of the N5 appearing like Mom's favorite table in the living room with the 100 pound 1/2" plate of glass on the top. Film protects enough, feels good with my finger and S-Pen, and is virtually invisible, even up close. For me, that works.

Hope this helps!

I went to lunch without it on, and I honestly was so paranoid that I think it's best for me to just use a case, lol. It just looks and feels so good naked.

The phone is just too slippery for me to not use a case. Occasionally I'll take it out of the Spigen Slim Armor that I currently have it it but any time I move I'll put it back in the case. I've now gone to the other extreme and just ordered a extreme case from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5067884 If I don't like it once it gets here I'll be ordering the UAG but I'm still torn on which colour to get.

Tried a few when I got it back in August at release, just wasn't happy with any of them. So I do a lot of wiping now still looks like new 7 months later...
