Anyone not using a case with their Pixel 2?

Yeah, I think people just need to decide for themselves how conscientious they are about holding their phones, and how much peace of mind you want in case of an accident. My wife always uses a TPU or thin shell case. My daughter also went with one of those, but still managed to break a screen (on my beloved N6 I'd bequeathed her!), so her next phone will get full-on balistic protection.

Cases can be hard to find the one you really want when it’s still early yet. I’m looking for a nice thin leather shell type case preferably that leaves the buttons exposed. Still searching but yeah some type of minimal thin case for me.

Right now no, got 2 cases coming in today, but I am waiting for Spigen and Google cases go on sale. I actually would rather not use a case, but I use a magnetic phone holder in my car so I tape the metal piece to the case.

On my current phone Note 5 Edge I started with a bulky UAG case. Could not comfortably keep in my pocket and getting it in and out was a struggle.

Then went with a front/back screen protector plastic film and that worked great and kept my phone pristine until after a year and the back protector film started to peel off. I order a new screen protector but it only came with the front screen protector so I bought the thinnest clear case for the back I could find.

I dropped the phone a few times and zero damage. Not sure if there is a market for this 3 year old phone but when I take off the screen protector and thin back case then factory reset, the phone will look like new.

I do buy insurance but never used it.

My 14 year old daughter on the other hand used insurance on her much better cased up iPhone 3 times. However, her phone when not eating, sitting in class, sleeping, or playing a sport is permanently attached to her nose. I guess it unhooks from her nose and hits the pavement once in a while.

My live case from Google came in and it's awesome. Great in hand feel good protection and not overly bulky.

I don't use cases, and it hasn't been a problem for me. I don't break my phones, luckily. I do have insurance just in case, though.

Still, I'm wavering a bit with this phone, as this is the first phone I've ever had with glass on the back.

That case is on my list as a possibility. I like the backside looks like the back of the phone design, cool. So my phone ships in 2 weeks, peel cases in 3 to 4 weeks. I'd need to be insanely careful as well Also, I'm still looking for a thin case and not seeing a whole big bunch of thin stuff.

3 days in and no case used yet. I love the in hand feel of this phone with the texted back. It didn't feel like playing, just textured metal.

However, my cloth Google case gets delivered today. I'm too paranoid to run naked.

I always use a case as the phone are usually too slick for my hands. Second is the protection of the phone and a screen protector. I already have them purchased for my new 2 XL.

A friend of mine didn't like covering up his phone because he wanted people to see how pretty it looks, well he dropped it once, and now people still can't see how pretty it looks, haha. He's used a case ever since

I'm currently going naked only because I haven't found a case I like yet. Have 2 maxboost cases from amazon. The thin one is almost too small and hard to take off the other is a wallet case I'll only use on certain occasions and the red and black incipio case. None of them feel perfect to me for everyday use.

That's probably my preference as well as I don't want any bulk and I don't want to hibernate the Panda.
