Anyone not using a screen protector?

I swear by screen protectors and usually have a tempered glass one but there are none for this phone because of the screen. I bought a Zagg HD dry full body protector and it gives me piece of mind that my screen is more protected, but I don't like the feel of it and it makes through screen look kinda grainy. Does the screen scratch easily without one?

I've owned about 10-15 smartphones and have never used a screen protector. And no, screen doesn't scratch. This is 2015

I'm not using one. Tempered glass is the ONLY kind of screen protector I will use, and since there isn't one that'll fit the Edge+, I'll just do without. I do, however, have a thin bumper style case on my phone, so if I drop it, it won't hit the glass edges first.

I rock my phones without screen protectors for the first year of having them, after that I throw on a screen protector because after about a years worth of use the anti smudge coatings begin to wear which can make the screen more scratch prone.

I take back my original remark. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the IQ Shield from Amazon and installed it last night (just the front one, not the full body). This is the one you apply with the wet spray, and I was a bit skeptical. But for less than $10, I figured it was worth a shot. Surprisingly, it works rather well! It was a cinch to apply using the wet spray and it left no bubbles or blemishes that I can see. Furthermore, the protector even covers the edges, though I had to hold it down for about 10 seconds to get it to adhere. As for the protector itself, it feels great and is almost imperceptible on my phone. It shows a little more fingerprints than the actual screen, but it doesn't feel resistive like some of those other ones like the Zagg Invisible Shield. There is a slight texture to it if you look in bright light, but it doesn't reduce the clarity of the screen. It also shouldn't get in the way of a case if you're using one (I'm using a thin Spigen case that is basically just a clear back and bumper).

Anyway, I'd highly recommend this for those that want a protector:

I fail miserably at wet install SP's, if anyone knows of a decent dry install one, let me know

Can't stand screen protectors. I'm weird like that.

Spigen is making one. Edge to edge protection, dry install. Doesn't ship until 8/31. It is not glass but it is their "crystal" shield. Used them before tempered glass became all the rage. They aren't bad but not as good as tempered glass. They are like 14.99. Spigen.com. They make some pretty slick cases as well.

I won't use a screen protector on any phone. I've found being careful I can keep from getting scratches on it. I haven't had a screen protector on since my original OG Droid. There's just too much lag when one's installed IMO.

i use tempered glass screen protector on all the phones i'm using, i do not agree with some points here that saying screen does not get scratched, it get scratched if your screen touched quartz sand or similar material. one piece tempered glass screen protector will save you hundreds $ and it does reduce the feel of touch.

I'm not and I swear by tempered glass. Gorilla glass is supposed to be very resistant to scratches however I did scratch my s4 when it didn't have a screen protector but that was years ago so I'm sure improvements have been made. I had the screen protector you are referring to on my note 3 a couple years ago and I couldn't stand it because of the grainy look.
