Anyone noticing camera speed degrading?

It seems lately that my camera speed is degrading. It no longer takes lightning fast pictures, and processing time seems to be longer. Also several times I have had pictures that don't load when you try to look at them in the photos app for hours after they are taken, and it seems to destroy the battery when that happens, only stopping the drain by restarting.

Am I the only one that has had this happen?

Nope, just as fast. Clear cache and data on camera app, also clear storage cache. Then restart phone. If its still slow a factory reset will definitely fix it, and if not its a hardware issue

I'm new to Android. I see the clearing cache under Settings -> Apps -> Camera -> Storage. How do I clear data and how do I clear storage cache?

Nevermind, Bing is my friend. Had 4GB of cached data. Hopefully that helps.

Photos app still seems a little iffy. Photo icons are blank for a long time and then eventually show the pictures.

Really don't want to do the factory reset...

Spent 2.5 hours using the Support Chat. The issue is definitely an issue with the "Photos" app. If I remove my google account from the app it works fine showing the pictures and videos that are on the phone. As soon as I relink it they can't be opened. I did the factory reset (which was "for sure going to solve your problem"), and still have the issue. Right now I just don't have my account linked to photos, and it is working ok. Not what you want to have to deal with from your $750 phone...
