Anyone order from Samsung directly?

How did you do that ?

Sign up for Fedex Delivery Manager. You'll have to answer a few questions to verify that you are you. It should then catch anything scheduled for delivery to your house and list it in the Delivery Manager.

You can also try searching by reference with your Samsung.com order number followed by -01. That reference number combination has worked for some on reddit.

I ordered on the 30th also and I still do not have any tracking info. But I'm not going to get upset until the 20th which is when they said it would be delivered

Ok folks, Ive been checking the samsung.com site (US) and my order still says preorder. So I went ahead and registered on Fedex.com, entered my info and there it was. Scheduled delivery by the 20th, 8pm. See image attached.

I went ahead and registered but nothing is showing. What did you do exactly after you registered?

In what must have been divine intervention, Firefox froze multiple times as I tried to log into my FedEx account for the 100th time today and I locked out my account. I guess I should just give it a rest.

Miketko, you need to access the Fedex Delivery Manager. Its in the menu on the left.

So, I just checked Samsung.com, it said order confirmed, preparing for shipment. I registered for FedEx delivery manager, but nothing was there for me. I'm thinking Digital River is screwing this up or they will be overnighting packages to make the promised April 20 delivery date, right??

Either that, things are actually shipping and the systems that report it all are just behind, or Samsung takes flak for missing their launch commitments.

/shrug. No way to do anything about it now. I guess I might as well go back to F5-ing.

If I don't get it on the 20th, I'm disputing the charge on my credit card if I can't cancel.

I'll be so over it by that point, I'll just wait til they have some at the store.

Edit: well I can't cancel so they better hope it's here Thursday.

If they deliver it, you can't dispute it because it's not fraudulent. IDC what card you're using and their terms tho

Mine just says preparing for shipment too.. as it has for last week 🤦🏼*♂️

So tonight my package arrived at the Fed Ex hub in Indy. Does this mean it could be on a flight tonight and I get it tomorrow or will I have to wait until Thur?

Why will it be tomorrow, it's 2 day air as they said it'll deliver on Thursday. I mean your tracking as well says Thursday.

That's silly it just says delivered by 4/20 8pm.

I don't think that's what Samsung is doing here, because when companies hold for the release date you still get your tracking info and it's very obvious that the carrier is instructed not to deliver until a certain date.

Verizon, for example, does this with almost every big release to allow them to start shipping early without delivering early.

Okay, so those of you who haven't gotten an email, here's a solution that was posted earlier and I can confirm it DOES work.

Go to FedEx and create an account. Don't worry about delivery manager, you don't need it. Go to tracking, track Reference Number and enter your confirmation number in the email sent by Samsung when you first placed the order, followed by -01. Enter the destination country and zip code and leave the date alone.

Hit search and it should show all relevant details for that package, including weight and dimensions. You do NOT need to use delivery manager, as I know they want a credit card affixed to those accounts. A free account is enough to find all relevant Information.

My phone shipped this morning and says it'll be here on the 20th by 8pm. Its currently in Indianapolis.
