Also, does anyone know if we can use our $50 Google Play credit on hardware? I'd never pay $35 for a case, but I rarely make any purchases on Play so wouldn't mind buying it with the $50 credit.

I had 2 in my cart when I bough the 6P then removed them. I figured without having the phone for a month I could find just as cool a case for significantly cheaper. Im glad I resisted the urge.

If you read the terms and conditions of the Google play credit, I think it says you can't use on hardware or things at Google device store. Only play store.

I ordered one. With a case there's no real way to know how it'll feel until you pop it on and hold it in your hand though, so we'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic; I loved the bumper case that Google sold with my N4, but the case they sold with my mom's N5 was crap.

Now, I am curious if you can use it on some app subscriptions (that are maintained via the play store). it says some subcriptions excluded but I wonder if you could essentially use for like a Pandora One monthly subscription or something. I know I'll be buying Clash of Clans gems with mine!

I broke down and ordered the case after the phone. normally I use $10 spigen slim plastic cases on my phones but wanted to give the official nexus case a shot

that sounds like a customer service rep that doesn't speak great English.

all he or she knows is right now they don't have anything, they're in some call center somewhere and have no clue if they're releasing a case in the future.

probably didn't know what the 6p even was and just saw on the computer it wasn't there and went with the generic response

Plenty of people have been asking Spigen over at XDA, and the response has remained the same, even looks copy pasted at times because they have been asked so many times. Spigen simply isn't making a 6P case at the moment.

Waiting for siedio. Everytime i try a different case manufacturer im let down, even Spigen. Siedio just makes the perfect case everytime with the best materials for the kickstand. If it takes a bit like the n6, ill buy a 3 dollar gel case or something cheap until siedio gets one out. Ive literally tried all of them, including otterbox (which all models i find way to bulky). I usually go with surface or dilex versions.

I'm looking for a rugged case, but I'm not sure Ballistic or Trident have committed to one, since UAG is sitting this one out. Anyone know of other rugged case companies? I know Life Proof is seemingly all about Apple, and I don't know about Griffin making a Survivor for it. It looks like options are limited.
