No phone is worth full retail, but that is my 2 centabos. I would get it by full upgrade, or in my local cl.

Not to be disagreeable, but paying full retail for a device can be totally worth it. I'm not even talking about buying phone outright and paying 50-60 less a month like with Straight Talk (whichi incidently i've been on for 4 months with zero complaints : ) but even when i was on a plan and after 6 mos to a year my phone would get a little, "long in the tooth", i had no problem paying full retail. I

f you really love ur devices and almost consider this a hobby, it breaks down to devoting about 50-100 a month for your hobby, thats not so bad, PLUS now everyone gives you trade in value, makes it even more worth it : )

Thats how i justify it to my hubby , made him ok with it instead of, "Whaaaattt?! Another &^%$#@! phone??!!"

That's the route I'm takeing but I would recommend the international version since your not getting lte

As much as I hate locked bootloaders; if the note 2 comes to Verizon, I will get it. Either by full price or upgrade. But my upgrade is not up till May 9th.

I'm leaving Sprint when my contract ends in December, and I'm going to T-Mobile prepaid. It's either this or one of the next Nexus devices. I'll have to see what comes out.

Ya its tough really I bought the gsm nexus used it for about 2 months on straight talk then decided to give that phone to my gf and bought a gnote off swappa.com. I everything obout the note. But the Galaxy is so sweet with vanilla android and fast updates. After using gnote for about 1 month now when I pick the nexus uo it feels like a babies phone its so small lol

It works on T-Mobiles network so if it suck where you are like it does for me I would take straight talk with a AT&T sim

Since I have 20 months remaining in my 2 year contract with Sprint (I got the EVO LTE four months ago), I'm gonna have to pay $350 for ETF and then around $600-800 for the Note II. This is going to be one expensive phone for me.

I'm hoping I can sell my EVO LTE (along with its accessories) to my friends or co-workers for a few hundred bucks.

Are you leaving Sprint? The only time you have to pay the EFT is when you leave a company, not when you buy a new phone off contract.

Thinking about leaving Sprint, paying the ETF, and going to Verizon for the Note 2.

Currently have the iPhone4S, but the slow speeds from Sprint is warranting my switch. I have had the phone for about a year so my ETF will be around $220 and then buying the phone on Verizon would be $299?

I am also looking at the iPhone5 on Verizon, just for the 4G speeds and to keep in the Apple ecosystem.

Tough decisions! Stay on Sprint or jump to Verizon..

LOL... I went to lunch right after I wrote my last comment and realized I didn't have to pay ETF . I confused myself because up until this past weekend, I was planning to leave Sprint for T-Mobile. But I decided to stick with Sprint.
