Im going in a bit to pre order. Then Thursday hit the Verizon on the way to pick it up. If they have them in stock ill tell them im on the way with my pre order gift card to pick it up. See if they will wave the activation fee just to get the sale. If so ill use the pre order gift card on something for the xoom. I haven't paid a activation for a phone sine I can remember with Verizon but not sure how they will do this.

I am sitting outside bb right now, I decided not to risk my VZ wireless store not having them on release day.

I aam hoping they will waive the activation fee for the sale. Unflortunately it is only 9:30 am and the store doesn't open until noon. I was bored so I called Verizon wireless and they gave me a free month of mobile hotspot on my DX so I am typing this on my son's new iPad I bought him the other day.

You should be able to get insurance thru Verizon like any other 3G device you purchase at BB.

Went this morning and pre ordered it. I havent heard anything fro Verizon, thought i wouldnt risk it and go for whats out.

I'm going to walk over to the Mall next to where I work. They have a Verizon store and a BB mobile within 100 feet of each other. I'm sure I will be able to get one without pre-order. If I can't get one, it was not supposed to be.
