Anyone pre-ordering the Axon?

It looks like a great option for under $500, and the 2 year warranty would be really nice to have. But with the Oneplus 2 right around the corner, is anyone biting?

Tempted to, but not sure yet. Been jumping from phone to phone this year. Started with my trusty old Nexus 4 (still have it). Then an M9, which I sold after being disappointed by the battery life. And right now I've been using a ZenFone 2 2GB model for about 5 days. I want to wait for a few reviews for this, but I'm also a bit hesitant with it having the SD 810. Not a terrible chipset by any means, but the whole overheating thing is still a bit worrisome.

I pre ordered i just have one question the email I got said Axon pro every where else its just Axon is there a difference? it was only 449.00 so pulled the trigger i can always sell it if i am not pleased.

idk this seems like a good sleek phobe but it lacks storage space and i hear about the axon lux witch is china only with 128gb storage and finger print scanner but looks like that will cost a lot, i may get the oneplus two seems like a better deal but if the release date is more than a few months then ill just wait to get an upgrade via carrier as my upgrade is near the end of the year.

I decided to pre order the phone from Newegg.com. I got the Chromium Silver color option. It looks and sounds like a beast of a phone. I am very bummed about the storage only being 32GB and no microsd card option but I can make it work. I don't take many photos and I can stream my music and movies. If the battery life ends up being pure crap I can always sell the phone. Hopefully it isn't totally crappy. I want to love it.

I got the Axon from Amazon, but returned it the next day. For me, there was nothing special about it for it to be costing $449. Maybe in the $250-300 range.
