anyone purchased magazines from somewhere besides google play?

As you all know when u buy a magazine from Google store it goes under Google play magazines app in our device and it looks good and readable buut I wonder what happens if u purchase an electronic magazine from 3rd company website how would it look?
I am thinking to buy 12 issues of reps magazine that's why I am asking thank you

I don't know but I would only buy 1 issue and then see what it looks like and how you can manipulate it.

Yes but they offer a cheap price for 12 issues , I don't know how would I try with 1 yet, working on it though

Signed up with Zinio when they brought their app to the PlayBook, and got $25 free credit to use on subscriptions. They have a ton of different magazine subscriptions available, also viewable on their website.

I managed getting ESPN, Maxim, GQ, and Cosmo all for 12 months and spent $10 of my own cash.

That looks cool so when I buy something from here is it gonna save under zinio app or somewhere else ? And how did you get 25 dollar gift card for This app again?

Haha..don't ask.

Anyway I signed up for zinio when it came to the BB PlayBook and the $25 was a sign up promotion at the time. You can sign up now and see if they give anything, but it may not work. The good thing was that everything I purchased in the PlayBook carried over to the Nexus 7. It just takes forever to download the mags and they take up a bit of room, usually 50 MB each.

Love Zinio. Plus if you ever move to another platform, you don't loose your magazines.

No..zinio is completely separate from Google or its magazine app. You would sign up for Zinio on its website, then download the Zinio app from Google Play. Then you purchase magazines from the zinio app or the zinio website and they will appear in Zinio only.

both the kindle and nook software for android also allows you to get magazines.
