Anyone putting stock in Dec 15th?

I just called Verizon in Sacramento. They said the release date will be Friday the 16th.

The name of the phone will be Samsung Galaxy Prime. The change of name is the holdup.

Whoever you spoke to has no idea what they are talking about. It is still listed on the google website and verizon's email signposted as galaxy nexus and is also on display at several stores as galaxy nexus. Bullhockey.

But it isn't the birthday of LTE...that was the 5th of December.

Who knows. This whole launch has been atypical, so they could release it without an announcement until the day of.

This has been a typical launch to me, very similiar of Samsungs Omnia II. Announced mid June naming Verizon as the carrier, specs. leak, Big Red says it's coming when the GSM version is released overseas in late Sept. Verizons CDMA then went to testing, rumored release dates come and go until announced for arrival in early Dec. Seems about on par to past release of a world phone destined for the shelves of Big Reds stores, as a cdma carrier. I waited out that one.and I'll do the same for this one, doesn't mean we have to do so happily.

Well, could be fake. Savannah, GA has had LTE for a while now. And have we seen any leaks confirming 12/15 for the white RAZR? Not saying it is fake, but does have some bad information.

White Razr has been talked about for a few weeks. It seems that Verizon employees have been waiting for it's release as well. (Kinda pulling an Apple with that one.)

Went to the local VZW corp store near me tonight and got a Razr for the wife... man I can't wait for another GED... definitely going to wait for the Nexus.

Anyways when the sales rep went to grab one of the open Razr's in the back so she could get a feel for the phone untethered to the security block, I asked about the Nexus. He claimed they have 0 at the store. Unless he was lying, it didn't give me much of a warm fuzzy about Thursday and getting one. I was sort of hoping he'd say "We have 30 in stock but can't sell them."

He might have thought that you would say that you would wait for the nexus instead of purchasing the razr. I think that many (if not all) stores have stock, but telling us this would just fan the fire; so, they lie. I have been to a few stores that straight-up told me that they have them in the back and cannot sell them.
