Rep here at a Houston corp store allocated 2 Nexi to our family plan. My lovely wife is meeting them at 10am tomorrow. She's off, the lucky little thing.

I just called the Downey, CA corporate store (Downey Landing). I made the appointment, but as soon as I mentioned the nexus, the guy went into his canned no release date speech, cancelled the appointment, and said that the salesperson would call me when they got word. I'm expecting a phone call later today

Yeah same here in PA.....capital city mall...carlisle pike....Harrisburg...all say no release until Verizon says which could come later today. Just called within the last 5 minutes...seems nobody knows until it happens and all those places I checked stated quite high demand for the phone.
as of ~3p, managers at 2 corporate stores nearish to RTP, NC both verbally confirmed launch and good stock tomorrow. we are a seriously techie area and one of verizon's original LTE markets, so maybe they're looking after us...
Well, just based on these forums, I know they'll sell at least five in Harrisburg on the first day.

Anybody hearing anything positive in Bucks County PA? I have called several Corp stores in my area, and had no luck -- they state they have not heard anything yet. Costco, on the other hand said they were on as of this morning. I qualify for the $100 upgrade to 4G, so I would really prefer to go to a Corp store.
Seems all the PA corp stores are staying mum.. sorry man looks like just have to try your luck in the morning

Yeah seems like Corp are on the hush hush about it. I think verizon really does want a soft launch at first for whatever reason and are telling their employees to make sure it stays that way. As long as when I wake up I do not see anything saying Verizon said it's a no go I will go to a store and see. Worst thing that happens is they say they can't sell any. Wouldn't be the end of the world lol.
Sumofabish, I just got a a call from the rep that made my appointment for tomorrow. He says that the launch is back in limbo. WTF
With all the conflicting information between Verizon and their retail outlets concerning whether or not tomorrow is a go, if it doesn't launch tomorrow, there are going to be a hell of a lot more leaked phones out there!
FWIW, I just stopped by my local corporate store and asked the rep if it'd be worth my time showing up a 9 tomorrow to buy a nexus. She said no. I said "definitely no?" And the reps response was "weve been reading the bulletins. They keep saying 'by the end of the year.'" That was an hour ago
