Anyone replace the screen yet

So I had a drop that wasn't very far on a hard floor that I now have "chip" in a corner and some hairline lines in my screen that cascade from it.
Those lines can only be seen from a certain angle that sometimes isn't easy to get to. This was despite having a tempered glass screen protector and cheap eBay tpu bumper.
My question is has anyone replaced the screen and is it tough to find someone to do because of the slightly curved screen? I have square trade, so it should only cost me $75.

Here's some information: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g4/531296-tear-down-guide-g4-good-news.html

The digitizer is apparently glued to the frame so more difficult and $ to fix compared to the G3. Sorry to hear about your problem but $^&# happens!

I saw that the digitizer is glued, which will make it more expensive, I'm guessing any of these fix it places will have to order that, which I saw on Amazon for $119.
I'm debating on whether to take a look under the tempered glass to make sure it's the screen, but I'm 99% sure that's the case

Better check first. My wife's s6 looks like the screen is cracked but actually it's just the zagg glass.

You should definitely pull off the tempered glass. I've seen a couple of devices that got cracks after a drop and ONLY the tempered glass was cracked...the screen was fine.

Sorry to hear, although im 99.9% sure its just the Tempered Glass with the damage

The guys at the repair place agree with all of you, that it's just the tempered glass that is cracked.
Thing is,I suck at putting them on, so getting them from Amazon doesn't help.
Anybody have a good one from best buy or somewhere else that they can install?
This one is a skreenguardz pure and it was $35 at att

Did it come with a lifetime warranty? I got the Bodyguardz one from At&T and it had that...if I ever have to replace mine, I'll just get the replacement and have them do it at the at&t store.

I don't see a warranty on the package...suppose I can call AT&T

Just about any place that you buy one where they will install it, you're pretty much getting ripped off on the price. I got a Skinomi at Amazon for $8. It's an absolutely perfect tempered glass protector and it's a piece of cake to put on. If it's not lined up just right, I took mine off and put it back on twice (to get it perfect) with no ill effects. If you hold the phone in one hand with your first finger coming up over the top center, your second finger coming up over the right side and your thumb coming up over the left side, you can pretty easily guide it on all lined up. You hold the glass on the two bottom corners and try not to let them get all the way down on the screen until the top and sides are lined up well. It's really not difficult.

I'm at that point in my life where there are things that I'm willing to pay more for than my frugal brain wants to...This is one. Good news is that they are sending me a new one and att is putting it on.

I just didn't want to wait for one, so the price we pay (and making at&t do it is indeed easier.) Glad that worked out for you!

So another option, there is a zagg kiosk in a nearby mall that would be able to replace warranty needs right there. I might just get one there and save this warranty one when it comes in.

Well,I got a zagg at the mall, and if it needs to be replaced for warranty...I can go back there.
Happy it wasn't fatal....
