Anyone Switch to iPhone Max??

Tell ya what, it is a great ecosystem though with multiple devices from iPad, Macs, Apple TV, etc. My other family members all have iPhones, and with me having one, it makes it all work out better between us. And getting imessage on the computer, or iPad without having to grab my phone is great. And the watch, runs on the wifi, and I get my messages on it without having to be in range of my phone. The Galaxy watch wouldn't do that if I got too far out of range of the phone. This is bluetooth only watches.

That is what is so nice, it is hard to get away from Apples ecosystem with how uniform everything works with each other. When I switch to Android, I feel like I am missing something.

My Galaxy watch pairs fine with my Note 9 through Wifi.

You used android for a long time and just changed to iPhone, suddenly you are bashing almost everything about android? Wow

You obviously didn't read what I put. Was never bashing Android. Not like a few here weren't bashing Apple either.

That is not what I said. If you are not in range of your phone, you won't get text messages on your Galaxy Watch. Mine let me know I disconnected and I stopped receiving alerts and messages. Where the Apple watch still works.

I still get notifications no matter the range

On my fossil I still get msg if I am connected to wifi without being connected to my phone

Well said my friend... well said.

What happened to this?

You've made SEVEN more posts since stating that you were done here, and enough said.

So... are you done, or not?

I'm guessing not.

Done discussing off topic stuff. No need for you to continue it either.

I thought about switching to the LG stylo and the iPhone Xs Max and the new Apple watch. But didn't.

I have to admit having been in the apple ecosystem for a long time I love their products and the OS.

Made the switch to the Note 9 this year which was a huge decision coming from a iPhone X, Mac pro, apple watch 3 and iPad pro. Got rid of all of them for a fresh start lol.

Having had the Note 9 512gb and the Microsoft Surface Go as of late cant see myself going back now. Both products hit the mark for my daily requirements.

Having choices is always good for the consumer. Theres something for everyone and everyone has a right to an opinion. The new iPhone XS Max looks amazing in the flesh and part of me OS always thinking about it.

But then I look at the capabilities of my Note 9 as not only a phone but an on the go PC of sorts with the DeX which has worked out a treat on the road and I look away lol.

To anyone wanting to/making a switch. You'll be happy with whichever handset you choose. as long as you can justify it for your needs then it's a good handset either way 😊

Yeah well my iris on my note9 would think you are a joke cause it works flawless for me and my glasses. Yeah iPhone never had issues with their's...ok Lol. Enjoy your iPhone and let us enjoy our note. Peace out.

Mine works perfectly with my glasses on or off. Never had an issue while wearing my glasses.

I'm on T-Mobile JOD plan and am thinking about doing a jump to iPhone XS Max. I figure I could give it a whirl for 30 days. It is a very decent phone and I haven't tried Apple since iPhone 4. If I hate it, I would be back safe and sound in the Samsung ecosystem 30 days later. Right now, the only thing I think I will truly miss is my Samsung Pay. I don't live near large metropolis, so not all -- or even most -- or our stores have an NFC payment set up. Most of my other apps and activities can all be done in either OS.

I'm going to go in today and see if I can actually hold one and play with it for a few. This will be a big jump, but it's one month.

I thought about doing the same thing, unfortunately, I won't be doing that because of the JOD down payment nonsense. Not worth the effort anymore, I'll either ride out my current phone or downgrade to a cheap phone and pay it off and stop getting phones at T-Mobile.
