It's kind of crazy. AI says that the watch ultra uses different bands from watch 8 because of the lug system, but the ultra was actually the first watch to have the lug system and they talked about how it was one click lmao. I'm guessing sources haven't been updated because my band looks similar to the pick you posted.
Is your watch 6 classic the 43mm so you didn't want the bigger 46mm of the 8? My husband has the 6C he's trading in for the 8C but I think he had the bigger one. I just googled it I didn't know the 6C came in 2 sizes. But he always like the stainless steel watches. I read this one is large and my friend got one and I think it's going to look to big on her. I almost did the 44mm regular and last minute decided to do the 40 like I always do. But I should of went into Best Buy and looked at a 44 at least seen if they had one.
Yeah I wasn't to sure about the new shape neither. I just got my bumber covers though and may like the shape after all. My husband had the 5 pro then the 6C and skipped the 7. So did you get the 44mm regular or the 40? I ordered from Samsung but don't see shipping info yet but saw an email from my regular post office which is weird but we have 2 packages coming Thursday from the same place out of Arizona.
I ordered the 44mm. My 7 is perfect so I stuck with that. I have screen protectors for the 7, so I'm hoping they'll fit the face of the 8. The UPS shipping label is prepared, but it hasn't been picked up yet. Probably Monday for a Wed delivery.
Well I was wrong I thought my email showed 2 packages coming but it was the same email at 2 different times changing from the 21st to the 24th so this may be something different my husband ordered. But yeah my label is prepared also. I kind of wished I had looked at a 44mm now but oh well. I doubt your screen protector will work cause of the new design. I bought new bumper covers. I have 2 black and 2 transparent clear ones.
Yes I read everything is the same in this Ultra 2 as last years except for band color. The only real differences I read is if you get the 44 regular or classic from your 7 and with me getting the 40mm probably not much difference other than the squircle. I am not even so sure the screen is any bigger I need to go somewhere and compare. I even think battery and processor is the same.
Agreed, I'm not sure it has anything other than aesthetics and they're minor at that.
Which is why I really didn't need to upgrade LOL! I have a beta of one UI 8 now but I am starting to like the squircle at 1st I didn't. But I won a 100 bucks a few weeks ago at the casino and that's what I paid with trade-in so it was a win win and I'll have the latest.
Well you will also have a new year of warranty on the new one. Of course my last warranty claim Samsung made up water damage on the battery case. The problem was the ear piece on the ear buds. Both charged just fine, there was no damage, so Samsungs warranty might be garbage. Might be better with insurance and pay the deductible.Which is why I really didn't need to upgrade LOL!
