Anyone tried V6 SupeCharger?

I've been runnin this since this topic was posted, personally doesn't feel any different to me but I think that's because I never experienced any type of lag, not scrollin, textin, switchin apps, nothin. Confirmed that it's active though. Tried option 8 and 9 and runnin reborn rom.

this looks exciting. i won't be able to try until i get home because for some reason, my phone can't download it.

for those who have it, do you have any specific examples of what programs might run better/smoother than they used to?

thanks!

when i stayed in google maps or Dolphin HD browser for an extended period of time. the launcher and other apps would be flushed from RAM, so if i hit the home button the phone would lag and the screen would freeze for a bit until the launcher re draws and the widgets have to re load.

same thing when switching apps, the app had to reload everything fresh.

with this script, it seems like more is cached. i havent had a SINGLE lag experience yet. except for the normal stuff like lag while scrolling on a semi loaded webpage. thats normal for this cpu. but switching apps and multitasking has NEVER been more smooth.

in short, i love it. i couldnt go back now hahaha

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'm running #8 and I can see a difference. Not that my phone lagged that much, but it definitely seems more responsive.

My biggest complaint about this tweak is how spastic this guy is on describing it and how ridiculous it looks when you run it. It's interface is so darn busy I can't tell what its doing

been running option 8 since this was posted here
i personally have not noticed any differences yet
did the changes confirmation to make sure it applied, all is well
running Harmonia 1.3 atm

could be unrelated, but my phone randomly rebooted overnight. not sure when it happened, but i had put it on the charger and went to sleep and this morning i noticed that it must have rebooted at some point in the night. so i wonder if the battery got too hot when on the charger? i normally overclock to 806, but i didn't think that it would get too hot when in idle.

again, may have nothing to do with this script, but it's never happened before until yesterday, the same day i ran the script.

That usually happens to me when I overclock too high. Try bringing the speed down a bit.

WOW! This script really works - BACKside-IHO is so much smoother now. This is the next step after flashing a new ROM from now on. For the record, I used option 7 - multitasking in update 8.

I just switched to option 8 and it works a lot better than option 6 and even option 6 was a big improvement over no script. Loving this script.

Try option 9 now. I think its better than 8. Can we uninstall script manager after adding the script?

Yes. you can uninstall it. It just adds the scripts it doesn't run them after you reboot.

Side note. I am using all 3 of the tweak scripts and one of the scripts has notification lights turning off and on the buttons when you miss a notification. Not sure on it's battery drainage but is cool regardless. :)

So you mean that if I uninstall script manager, the script will still work like its supposed to and not have any problems?

Correct. Although if you are going to keep playing with the option numbers you might want to leave it on your phone till you decide on one permanently. Not sure if you are having space issues but it is probably ok to leave it. ;)

Ok thanks. I dont like to have things running in the background lol

No problem man.
BTW, I rebooted and checked and script manager didn't auto start upon rebooting. Not sure if it will start itself at some point but doesn't when most apps do.

If you are running a stock or froyo rom I believe you have to run an additional script to get it to load at bootup, but cm7 Tom's will do it automatically
