I know this is a GSM phone, but has anyone tried a Verizon SIM to see if you receive any LTE coverage?

Apparently it will probably work for data, but would not work for calls. Not entirely sure why, and can't remember where, but there are disclaimers somewhere that say it doesn't work on verizon.

I'm sure it's not officially supported by Verizon (just like the Axon 7) , but was wondering if anyone tried a SIM

Sprint and Verizon are CDMA for voice and have various Bands for LTE. If you want to check try website willmyphonework.com. It shows what freqs and Bands work for a specific phones and geo locations.

Verizon uses volte so in theory you could get voice, but the phone might not jive with Verizon's implementation.

If anyone has tried or could try an activated Verizon SIM it would be appreciated... thanks

Bump... Looks like some of the international versions might have Verizon bands... Not sure the US version does

I know, doesnt seem like anyone is interested in trying and I am surprised there isn't much out on the web on it...too bad
