Anyone try Slingplayer yet?

I'm waiting on my Nexus to arrive and am wondering for anyone who got one today, have you tried using the phone or tablet versions of the Slingplayer?
I have the phone version on my Evo 3D and would hope it works well on the Nexus so I dont have to use my Play credit on the tablet version.
Also, what Slingbox are you using?
I use the AV and despite what Sling says, it works fine on my Evo 3D.

I am waiting for my Nexus 7 still, but I have the Samung tab 2 7.0

Slingbox works very well on it. I cannot recall if I am using the phone version or the tablet version as I had a 10.1 before. I think it is the phone version however.

I'm running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 on my Galaxy Nexus and Slingplayer mobile works fine on it. Performs no different that it did on ICS 4.0.4.

Might anyone with a Solo and both the phone and tablet versions be able to say if there's a noticeable difference in picture quality? Thanks!

I know that this is a different company but my Vulkano player app installed and worked great without issue and Monsoon is not known for there "Up-To-Date" support like Sling Media, so I doubt that there will be much issue with it.

Sling works on my GN running JB also. Works on S3 too.
