Anyone Try The Innocell 1750

Has anyone tried this battery yet? I've been reading a lot of posts regarding battery life and those who are having success are happy, but are not doing any one thing. I've read some where they use Task Killer's, disable all sorts of refreshing, etc. I've read others where folks are not doing much except disabling 4G.

I (and several others) am having problems with my phone making it through the work day. I don't have the best cell reception in my work, but have been (since purchasing the phone) experimenting with different variations the past couple of days.

I really want to keep this phone, but I have to be able to make it through the day, especially when I travel. Would the larger battery help at all, and has it helped anyone who is currently using it?

Try this to get better cell phone reception: *techknowfile's* - Hack the HTC EVO - 3G w/o Sprint EVDO coverage! - xda-developers

I'm also curious about the Seidio battery. I had a 1350 mAh for my Pre and was considering getting the extended version for the EVO. Battery life for me has been better than the Pre, but still not super.

I have the Seidio 1750mah battery.. after the first 2 drain cycles - it gives another 2-3hours atop what the standard batter provides.. mind you I'm cooking at about 15hours with one good cycle of the stock battery and I went from Sunday morning to late Monday morn with HEAVY use all day Sunday showing the phone off to any Tom, **** and Harry.

Bought it and is now going through its first 8 hour charge... will report back ;)

I loved Seidio Innocells while using Palm Treos 600 and 650 back when Dinosaurs ruled the Planet. Between then and now buying phone batteries was not an option thanks to Steve Jobs and the iPhone.

That said just bought the Innocell 1750 for my EVO 4G having made the wise decision to jettison AT&T, iPhone and iAds for Sprint.

If you're like me and you're in an office where the phone doesn't get good reception and it's constantly searching for a signal than it's going to drain the battery. I was hoping someone would come along and make a "roam only" hack for it as that helps me tremendously when I'm at work. Instead I'm stuck with keeping it plugged in at work.

Hmmm... tempting... very tempting. I guess I'll wait for their 3500mAh to come out to see how much bulk/weight/more juice it actually yields. If it can protect the camera while adding that much more juice, it might be a winner.

Yeah im also waiting for the 3500mAh battery as well. It needs to hurry the hell up. I like to go a completely full day (9am-10+pm for me) without having to worry if my battery is going to die out.

Yea, my only reservation about the 3500mah battery is that it will add 30% to 40% to the phones size, then I would probably add a case that fits making it pretty big....

Reporting back... They say it needs an initial 8 hour charge... I did an 11 hour charge (it so happened), and right now close to noon - it seems to me that it's holding up a bit better than the OEM.

Will report later on to see if it gets me though the day... They say that it'll get it's true capacity after 4-5 recharges ... My OEM HTC could not get me though the whole day without juicing up couple of times here and there.

So from your experience, you are getting extra 2-3hours more than the original battery? Is that correct?

I'm very skeptical of any claim that the Innocell 1750 actually improved battery life. Batteryboss.org did objective tests and found that the Seidio 1750mAh battery actually underperformed the stock 1500 mAh battery (1750 got 1383mah and the 1500mAh OEM stock battery got 1414mah).

well, my wife and I had bought 2 of these bad boys for our Incredibles, and, after returning the incredibles due to lousy phone reception, we had planned on E-baying these things..the other day, I thought, WTF, lets try them in the EVO,and WHAM BANG, what a pleasant surprise!
Did the "conditioning" thing, of draining them till they were stone dead, then charged them while the phone was off, till green, plus an extra hour or so,and have been using them for a few days now..
DEFINITELY longer life than the 1500mah stock battery; generally, with "normal" usage, text, 6 email accounts, music, web surfing, we both get around 15 hours of usage, no problem...with the stock battery, it was more like 10-12 hours of use.

Will probably get a 3500mah when then come out, but until then, this does make a difference...

Yea I'm also waiting for the 3500mah battery or a 2500mah

Has anyone experienced improved battery life with the 1750 lately? I ordered mine for the EVO last week because it made a huge improvement with my Droid Incredible. After reading these reviews I am not so sure about it anymore.

Thanks.
