Anyone upgrade from the epic touch 4g?

My only gripes with the s3 is the loss of 4g and the crappy flash player. The s2 has great 4g and flash player. Other than that,I am pretty happy.

I am actually using both phones... And i find myself loving the s3..I was hesitant for a little bit after reading everyone's reviews about it.. But i love it. Love the size, the screen, how thin it is.. Just all around amazing phone.

Well I went to go do my buyout and upgrade and the guy at the store told me the notation was removed from my account and I couldn't do it. So I got on the phone with customer service 3 times and they weren't willing to help at all. I just got fed a lot of crap. Only plus side is I found out my early termination fee is only 110. I think I'm leaving sprint. Thanks for all the advice on the phone.

Wow, I called Sprint and asked for a upgrade(I just upgraded in Jan) they told me no, I ported my number went to Verizon for 6 days. Then Called Sprint back, they then gave me my upgrade no issues as if I never called the week before. Got my S3 from a S2, I ported my number back from Vz before Sprint knew I was gone. Not sure what plan you have, but I didnt want to be bothered with the mystery overage charges.

I don't know what their problem is my etf is only 110 and I was going to pay a early upgrade fee of 125 and they didn't want to help me whatsoever.

That's one thing I miss from T mobile, their great customer service. Every time I had an issue, they were very helpful and willing to work with me.

So that means you'd be paying $435 to get the S3? Why not just pick one up for ~$500 off ebay, and then you'll save you're upgrade?

I was gonna trade my s2 for 100 and then just pay 20 - 30 more over the upgrade price. I know I could sell the s2 but I tried selling it on Craigslist before and even went as low as 200 obo and I got no bites.
And no I wouldn't be paying 435 I would either pay the early upgrade or terminate my contract. So I was just saying that I could leave for less than I could upgrade for.

Just my 2 cents. The galaxy s2 is a beast and still is a beast of a phone. The difference between the two phones for me was battery life and a better camera. I take pics of homes with my phone so a good camera is a must. The s3 is better than the s2 in that department. So I would definitely recommend the s3. The one thing I don't like about the s3 is there doesn't seem to be a fully functional case for the phone.

Well I just got a s3 I traded my s2 and 150 bucks and I have to say I'm loving it so far. And no need to reset my contract.

That for me is the biggest advantage over the E4GT. My E4GT would take for ever to lock GPS and with the S3 it is locked on before I even have time to think about it.

Basically a bigger screen and worse battery life.... Otherwise not all that different... Speed increase is lost to the added real estate of the screen.... Battery life needs help... If it was as good as my ICS Gs2, I would call the phone perfect.... But for now, it's good ... Not great...

I upgraded from the ET4G about 2 weeks ago. Bought it at Radio Shack for $149 and they gave me $132 cash back for my ET4G! Yep, $18 and I have far and away the best smart phone I have ever owned. Screen is larger and has better res, the new Touchwiz features and motion sensors are lots of fun, and the 2Mb of RAM make it a much smoother interface. Also the battery life is much better. This is well worth the upgrade. Don't think twice about it.

Yes, upgraded but went to verizon. Got so tired of calling about getting no signal, no data while roaming and being told that the tower was upgraded and you should be fine. Ok, but if this tower was fixed, why am I outside in a major town getting zero bars? The GS2 was the best phone ever and never had a problem with the phone itself before ICS. After, I had useless bluetooth, poor battery and all kinds of problems. Glad I paid a butt load to break my contract with Sprint. That same spot that I got zero bars I get 4 bars and LTE. And I can also use my phone at the gym to stream pandora. The best was at the verizon store which the front of the store is all glass - it took 3 minutes to log into the sprint website on my phone since I needed to find out my account number to port my cell number. It was awkward.

Lmaooooo@ u porting back from Verizon before Sprint new u were gone .....u sound like a kid sneaking out the house had to return before your mother got home because she told u not to go out in the first place
