Anyone use a Holster with their Note 5 ?

I buy premium leather belt clip holsters on Ebay for around eight bucks each and find them protective, comfortable and easy to use and wear.

I'm outside a lot running and fast walking and it's easy to clip the holster to my shorts or pants.

YMMV.

Arg am jealous of people that have a phone clipped to their sweats. Ive tried it and my pants wont stay on hahaha.

I've been using these Nite Ize holsters for many years. They last and last.
Just bought this one for my Note 5:
Nite Ize Universal Clip Case Cargo Sideways XL Color Black | eBay
It is meant to be worn sideways, like the name states. I find it very comfortable, and inexpensive.

I don't like carrying the Note 4 or any other phone in my pocket at all. I did so with my Note for a little over a week before I got my OB Defender. The rotating belt clip is somewhat cheap though and over the years I've broken 3 by snagging them on something like a car door. So I also bought a slightly padded nylon holster (horizontal only) for a spare. My Defender is camo as is the nylon holster, real kewl looking IMO and not at all embarrassing. I want the best drop protection I can get. I will also mention as I have on some other threads is that my OB is a knock off or more likely a factory second. I got it at a flea market for $10. It's precisely identical in construction and material except for the logo. The holster has the logo.

1. How weird is it?

Yes, I'm serious, I really do want to know.

I use a holster with my Note 3 which is the same form factor. I prefer horizontal. I find it much more comfortable than the pressure on my leg when I sit with a long phone in my front pants pocket. In my shirt pocket the phone falls out if I bend over. Bad in bathrooms!

Weird? I have always made every effort to be weird so if you want to be like everyone else a holster is not cool. On the other hand if you need to be cool get an iphone and don't even put a case over it let alone a holster. Comfort-wise it is a huge improvement.

P.S. My first phone holster came along just in time to replace my calculator holster which replaced my slide rule holster.

I use a holster. Its not weird at all. Its comfortable unless im about to drive then it gets in the way of the seatbelt but thats with all holsters. I rock mine horizontally. This is the one i have. And i have to give the case some propts. I was on public bus a couple days ago. And the bus took a sharp turn on a hill which pretty much caused all the passengers on the left to fly towards the right. I had to think quick and grabbed my toddler at the same time that my phone flew out of my hand hit the seat across from me then bounced on the floor and slid under some seats. The noise was so loud that a couple passengers gasped. I was more worried about catching my baby and not falling on my face. F*** the phone (mommy mode). When i finally retrieved my phone. Not a scratch or chip.. maybe the note is that durable. Who knows. Im using this case with the tempered glass screen protector too.

I bought this on when I read your post with the pictures. But my phone in that case just slipped on out when turned upside down. There were a few reviews that said the same thing. More positive reviews then negative. Maybe we got a bad batch.
