Anyone using a screen protector?

I love the analogy but seriously!?...come on! Any previous phone I've had, cough lousy blackberries, have looked like an NHL ice surface after one hard shift within a couple of weeks.

Do you know how hard it is to scratch this version of gorilla glass? unless you carry it in a bag with diamonds, sand, 24 pennies, 36 small pebbles and a socket set, I think you'll be ok

Screen protectors are essentially useless. Especially with gorilla glass 2. Why cover a beautiful screen with a garbage piece of plastic that ruins the screen?

For anyone with issues with the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons while using a screen protector, try this: Amazon.com: MediaDevil Magicscreen Screen Protector: Crystal Clear (Invisible) - HTC One (2 x Screen Protectors) - IMPORTANT: only compatible with the "HTC ONE", and not the other devices in the HTC One Range: Electronics

I was using a Spigen SGP Ultra Crystal and HATED it. It messed up the capacitive buttons, where it would usually take me 5+ times to hit it correctly. And the thing was a fingerprint magnet, so much that a light touch and there would be oils all over the screen.

Switched to MediaDevil (had used them before on a few iPhones, iPads, and the Nexus 7) and everything is great. Even though the protector is completely clear, it repels fingerprints much better! It's strange to say - but this protector just "feels" higher quality (it is perhaps a bit thicker but this could be a placebo effect). And, now I have zero problems with the buttons. Don't hesitate, try these!

where else can I purchase this for it to be shipped to Canada? Either than there website itself any others?

lmao I know but have they been gorilla glass 2 screens? google gorilla glass 2 there are videos of people trying to scratch it and can't

If I had a dollar for every scratched or cracked gorilla glass screen I've seen, I wouldn't buy a screen protector, because I could afford to replace the whole phone.

well a screen protector won't help you with a crack....probably got dropped or sat on....lol I've seen you tube videos of people doing some pretty radical things to this phone and nothing....I can't even get mine to fingerprint up as much as my Evo 4g LTE used to...

Skid it face first across pavement and let me know how it holds up. I've learned scratches are easier to prevent than remove.

I put an SGP Ultra Crystal on and it looks fantastic. I am wondering if it has made the screen a little less responsive. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I had the SGP and the only issues were the front and back buttons, but not too bad.

no thanx lol mine is either in my belt clip (face in) or in my hands being used

I've seen all these scratch test on different phones going back years, and all those phones do scratch in the real world.

I have used Zagg with my nexus s and my nexus 4 and been very happy. No loss in sensitivity that I could detect and crystal clear. They honor their warranty.

I've seen tons of phones without scratches on the screen as well.

It is the dust and dirt particles that scratch gorilla glass, not keys or pennies. With that being said, I am protectorless until the buttons are fixed or I find a protector that will work

I've never really been a screen protector or a case guy until I purchased the One, but there is more to it than that for me. I put a Zagg HD on mine, and topped it off with a double dip hard shell, because, I am seriously considering skipping insurance with this kind of protection, gonna debate it for a few more days.

So the capacitive buttons work great? You are not like a sponsor of the protectors right? lol.....i'm going to have to give them a try. i just feel if they are thicker that the capacitive buttons would be less responsive than my SGP.

I currently have a zagg shield on my s3 I think it has a better feel than the phone with no screen protector the zagg's are a bit pricey though .... well it cant hurt it some folks just dont believe they do anything ...

I put a Spigen Ultra Crystal on mine today and haven't had any problems with the capacitive buttons. Guess I'll see how it goes over the next few days, but it's fine so far.

I'm waiting for the Spigen Ultra slim clear case and screen protector. Should be released May 6. One thing I love about this phone is the screen feels smooth as silk and barely leaves fingerprints.
