Not anymore. Dropped the last one face first and cracked the screen. This one has a case. Cruzerlite case. Still keeps it thin, with a decent amount of protection.
i only use a case outside of my daily routines...as long as i am going to work, or staying at home i am running naked...any time i go on a trip, baseball game, working out, ect i slap my case on.
the only scratches i have are from my unusually tight fitting cheap chinese dock i got off ebay.
I have been taking the case off of my Galaxy S II all day. I love the look and feel without the case. I probably wouldn't feel that way if it wasn't white.
I prefer going without a case but ... I like to use a holster and when extracting from a holster you have to grip on the corners. The corners of the gnex are not designed to be gripped and I have dropped it so most of the time I use a tpu case.
Yeah I've gone naked since the day it came out. *giggidy*
I must've been lucky cuz one day I tripped on rough cement stairs slamming my GNex hard then it scraped across screen-down to prevent my fall...and it came away with only a very slight cosmetic scratch under the LED Notification light.

As long as my phones last a year, I'm good so for me personally I don't use cases.

I had a case for my Fascinate but the darn thing had crashes that called for battery pulls all the time. I got sick of taking the case off constantly so I got in the habit of going naked. Nothing happened to the phone after a year so when I finally talked Verizon into letting me upgrade early to the GN I decided it was too pretty to cover up.
I personally use a screen protector and a case. I do use a wet screen protector over the static ones. The wet ones are a bit harder to apply but you get virtually no air pockets and better clarity. I recommend XO Skins as they are the only ones that don't show an orange peel effect on the screen.
As for a case, I prefer to use a case that maintains the contour of the shape. So I use the casemate barely there case.
I use the incipio case Verizon sells in their stores. It is nice and doesn't add much bulk and it can fit the phone with the extended battery on. Sure the edges aren't flushed on each corner but honestly it's pretty close. I have 3 other cases but this is my fav.
I use the otter box commuter (the thinner one) since I dropped it on it's side. Awesome case and the extra thickness doesn't bother me. I would recommend it for 30 bucks verses buying a replacement screen or insurance

I've had mine naked since day one. My screen has on minor scratch and there's a tiny nick on the corner from when I dropped it, but it's not enough to bother me or make me want to put it in a case.
