Anyone waiting for the Nexus 9 "Sand" color?

I'm anxiously awaiting to purchase my N9 but I'm going to wait for the "sand" color. I think this tablet looks great in all three colors but it feels a bit more classier in the sand color. Anyone else waiting for "sand"?

thought about it (Getting it in Sand instead of Black), but as soon as I saw that it would be released later during Q4, I thought to myself "Nope, I'm not waiting". I like black better anyway.

Since my N7 is still functional, I can wait for the sand version. Just hope it doesn't take too long

Is anyone considering purchasing some of the 1st party cases like the Keyboard case or Folio Cases?
Only thing about them is the price is really high- $130 for a keyboard or $40 for a folio cover!?!

Does anyone know if the beige color will be available in a 16gb version? Right now, the Google Play Store only lists the 32gb wifi edition as "coming soon"...

I keep hearing the beige (sand) color will only be available in 32gbs. This may change if demand is strong for the tablet. I'm definitely getting the folio case/keyboard with my tablet. A bit pricey, but I like the option of being able to use the tablet like a computer.

The magnetic case looks to not cover the back so you can see the back of the tablet.

Very true, but every so often, I like rocking my tech naked! Nothing like someone seeing your tablet and phone and asking "Is that an iPad?" and me responding... "No, my Nexus tablet!"

I thought the sand color looked awesome but after watching the videos on you tube showing the white one I decided to go with that. Now just trying to figure out which Magic Cover case to go with, kinda like the mint just not sure yet.

I am really waiting on a Android Central and others review on the Nexus 9 (battery life in the primary factor to me). If I get a Nexus 9 it will be the Sand color.

AC just gave their preliminary first impressions of the N9 and they seem to like it a lot. I'm now waiting for Amazon, Google play store or best buy to make the sand version of this tablet available. I'm hoping it won't be much longer than the the release of the black and white versions.

I saw some articles claiming "later this year" for the sand and LTE versions. If I can pick one up before January I'll be happy.

You would think Google would want to get it out before the holiday shopping season. I wish there was a way to contact google to ask when to expect a release date.

Why do you even care about the colour of the thing? Actually I'd prefer black because if Ieave it in my car it might be less visible to potential break in thieves.

Personally, I'm kinda tired of the same black, white, silver devices. I like the fact you have a third option. Plus, that sand color looks great. Personal preference.

I don't get why they can't offer the same colors in all countries. Makes no sense.
