Anyone waiting for the Nexus 9 "Sand" color?

Geez. Bought a white on Saturday and it arrived Monday. (Amazon).

Great piece of kit. I've been using a Nexus 10 for two years, now. It's faster. Love the aspect ratio better. I keep my in a Poetic case so don't care if it flexes, but it didn't seem to. Buttons are good (slightly better than on my 10, frankly). Very slight light bleed in LL and LR corners. It's a keeper. I mean, really, you have to download an app to see the light bleed? Why care, then?

I don't think I'd care at that point either (if I had to download an app to see the light bleed). However, the first tablets to market were MUCH worse. I'm hoping that fiasco is in the past and all tablets are congruous including the one being delivered to me tomorrow. Congratulations. I like the Nexus products as well.

I said I'd come back to report on the light bleed. It's visible. It's not as bad as it was, but that's a very low benchmark. it's $500 of disappointment.

Other than the lighter amount amount of light bleed, troyinfortlaud, would you say that the Nexus 9 Sand color represents the latest Nexus 9 build, i.e. with the earlier batch issues (hard to press power/volume keys, fingerprint magnet of black finish) non-existent? And no new imperfections introduced? I've been waiting about ~14 days since the Nexus 9 Sand color was released, and so far no one except you in this forum on the Internet has mentioned or reviewed or unboxed the sand color Nexus 9.

The other problems were gone. The light bleed is still abhorrent and only slightly less annoying...but still annoying. I once had an Asus tf101 Transformer from around 2006. You could actually pry the back cover off and look inside. Even THAT had less light bleed.
