Anyone wanted an Asus Nexus 10?

I also think the ten inch is too big. I had the ipad 2 and the Asus transformer prime. I have always felt like the 7 inch form factor is the perfect size for a tablet. At least that's what I believe. So no... I don't dont want a nexus 10.

I would definitely buy it

Bigger screens are better screens.

A real tablet should be 10", not those little mini tabs like the nexus 7.

That's actually the only reason i didn't buy it, just too small for a tablet

I've always thought that i pad was too big. When the Nexus 7 was launched I got excited because I knew this was the perfect size. Love it. You can keep your 10 inch tablets.

Why don't you just carry around a 52" big screen, then?

For a tv sure, but for a tablet 10" is the perfect size

Funny how android fans spend so much time and effort telling Apple fans big screens are better, now that android took a smaller screen approach suddenly android fanboys are raving over it and baking big screens lol.

Hi Android people! Is there any way to copy / paste without selecting an entire entry? I just want to select a word instead of a whole sentence. Any thoughts?

Maybe it's perfect for you, but it's not for everyone. 10 inches for me and many others is too large. I have 2 10" tablets and they have been collecting dust since the N7. They're just too large for me to carry around everywhere. 7 inches seems perfect, just big enough to comfortably browse and watch media and just small enough to be truly portable. Also just perfect for awesome two-thumb typing. The only 10 inch I ever plan on using again is the Win8 surface, but I certainly won't be lugging it around with me every day.

Since I already have a Grouper (try to find out what that is, thanks dmmarck), I'd only be tempted to buy a 10" tablet if it could dual-boot with Windows and had one of those awesome Asus keyboard docks.

As far as 10" being too big, I actually have a weird personal experience:
My dad has and iPad 2. I used it for a year before I got my beloved Grouper. It felt like the perfect size. When I got my Grouper, it too felt like the perfect size. Now the iPad feels HUGE. So, as I said earlier, only if it dual-booted to Windows. If that's a feature in the Asus Padfone 2, I might buy it.

I agree with the above. 10 inches is way too big. My iPad feels cumbersome.

I think a 10" tablet is too large to carry around regularly and a 10" screen is too small for writing papers or working in spreadsheets. A 7" tablet is a pretty convenient size for me and much better for web browsing and email than my iPod Touch. If I need more screen real estate for work, I probably also want a keyboard, et cetera, which drives me to jump from a 7" mobile device to a full fledged laptop, without stopping at an in-between compromise.

If you want a Nexus 10 then pick up an Asus Transformer Pad 300, its so close to pure Google it isn't funny. I picked up the TF300 then grabbed a Nexus 7 a few weeks later. I don't really prefer one over the other as I have uses for both of them.

I wouldn't be interested in one. I can carry my 7" in my purse with ease. A 10" tablet in a case would be too large for that. It wouldn't surprise me to see them come out with one, but I'm not one that would jump on it. The 7" size is perfect for me.

I would like a 10" Nexus. It would fill a need that neither my phone nor my laptop serves: reading full page PDFs. I would see using it alone and/or along side my laptop while doing development.

Having 2 iPads, a Galaxy S3 and now a 16gb Nexus 7, I know I could easily live with just the 7" tablet if I didn't have an iPad already. I can see carrying my 7 everywhere, whereas a 10" is a bit too big. Great for trips though.

As much as I'd love to have a 10" Google Nexus tablet, I'm at a point where my wife and I are pretty much set for awhile when it comes to tablets, and it doesn't make sense for us to buy yet another tablet when we're pretty heavily using our existing ones. I have a 16GB N7, and she's using her Kindle Fire until the Fire HD 32GB comes out, at which point my kids will have her old Fire to play with. If, however, I hadn't already grabbed this N7 I'd consider a 10" version. :)

What I'd be looking for in a tablet with a larger screen is (maybe a tad larger than 10"), to have the ability to essentially replace a laptop--which is what the Windows Surface attempts to do, right?

I'm no techie so I don't know if this is possible for a non-windows device, but it'd be great to be able to run software on and android device. Like if major software companies like MS Office (fat chance) or Adobe PS released android-compatible versions. I mean, imagine how great PS would be on a touch screen? The ability to maybe switch bt a desktop and mobile mode (coughcough Hulu lol) would also be nice.

If it's affordable and the specs are good, which I'm sure they will be, I'll probably get an N10 just for kicks. But Imo 7" is the optimal screen size for a tablet.

I specifically bought the Nexus because it was a 7" and of course because of the performance as well. That purchase came after I bought my wife the Asus TF700 and enjoyed using her tablet so much that I needed one of my own, but felt a 10" was too big and no other 7" tablet out there could match (actually beat) the TF700 performance.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which I absolutely loved until I got the Nexus 7. I still like the Tab but not nearly as much as the N7. I never would have thought that would happen but you never know...

If I wanted a bigger tablet I would have gone with the iPad. The N7 is the perfect size. Frankly I think the iPad would have been better off with a 7 inch form factor. Being able to easily hold it in one hand is so much better.
