Anyone with a Pixel 2/XL and OP6T?

Once I feel locked into one device, I start wanting to go back to the other, lol. Just a techie that wants it all I guess! You mind sharing what your issue with the Note 9 was? I also just went thru 2 rounds of ubreakifix repairs for camera issues (shaking/vibrating of the lens). Mine is now basically brand new on the outside, frame, camera module, display, etc, but with the same "guts". So far so good, knock on wood
Why is it so hard lol. I am also not impressed with the gcam port. Tons of issues with it still. I am selling my Note 9 for the 6T. Been a note user since the Note 4 and so regretting trading my Note 8 for Note 9. There is a major design flaw with the Note 9 model. I had to replace my Note 9 twice and replace the model, again, just last week at UbreakIfix. I am DONE. going to sell it for that. So disappointed.

Was going to just stick with 6T and then a friend of mine offered me his 2xl 128gb Panda like new condition for $300. Getting that Monday and my life is complicated again lol. I should have said no, but how could I?

Yep, same note 9 camera design issue. When you try to zoom in or Live Focus, the camera gets stuck trying to move into place and it starts making a loud buzz noise and vibrates, making for a very wavey and/or blurred vision. Replaced 2 phones and made another repair for the 3rd, all with the same issue. It takes few weeks after the purchase for it to start happening.

There is a long post on Samsung forum. My detailed feedback is on there as well as to some videos I caputered of the issue. I am done with Note 9 and honestly done paying $1000+ for a phone. If rumors are correct, note 10 is going to be north of $1,250 for base model. NO Way. Thank you.

By that time, I would rather pick up a used OP 7 for more than half the price, or a used pixel 3 xl.

Great. So you're saying it's inevitable and it's just a ticking time bomb for the camera to crap the bed again. How has this not become more publicized?! That's pure garbage for a $1000+ phone.

Well, it happened to me 3 times. So I put my time in for this Note 9. I had enough.

I'll be using 6T and testing 2 xl next week. I have 2 lines with TMobile, so it's just a matter of deciding which one my main number going in.

Oh boy, just picked up pixel 2 xl. Dang, looks like a 1998 phone w.r.t looks in front of 6T. 6T is so sexy and modern looking, not so much for 2 xl.

I am not sure about this LOL.

Dual front facing speakers, LED notifications, and the camera. The biggest reasons I'm struggling with the decision and not quite letting go of the Pixel yet. That, and paying $100 more for the OP6T.

I'm down to my last few days of the return window with my OP6T, and I remain torn lol. I'm loving OOS on OP6T, and the gesture navigation is fantastic. I'm also a big fan of the way OP maximizes their screen size. I can't stand the fact that there's no good way to hide the navigation control on the Pixel, and even if you can, many apps don't fill that space (like YouTube). However, it's hard not to notice the camera dropoff. I also take advantage of the dual speakers and LED notifications on the Pixel. And again, having only paid $475 for my Panda Pixel, I have to decide if the change to OP6T is worth $100 and then hope to sell the Pixel for as close to $475 to get that value back. What a time to be alive lol. Definitely not as easy a decision for me as others here.
