It means that the label has been printed is all. At work we can ship through UPS, when they print the label it will give a tracking code. Not until they pick up the package and scan it, will it then be "In the system" so it can be tracked. Even after scanning it can be a little bit before it shows up on line. I don't know yet, no one has said, if this will require an adult signature. Once it's in the system you can request they hold it at the UPS distribution center to be picked up though. I'm bummed because I'm going on vacation and won't be back home till next Sunday night. I'm leaving tues afternoon and it won't be here till maybe that evening or Weds. Would have been nice to be able to set it up and mess with it on the flight...

You should make of it that Google created a label last Tuesday and that UPS still does not have your package. It is pretty simple.

I have something similar this AM. It seems they intended to send out for delivery last Friday which would have been sweet. As it stands it hasn't moved yet. It's most likely has not left the facility yet.
I've been on the fence about Google screwing up the pre-release shipping but this kind of makes me a little miffed . It seems they set things up to go our early but for some reason didn't follow through.

My shipping details were vague to nothing until exactly 9AM PST this morning. Now my Tablet is in Kentucky and is estimated to arrive at my home in California tomorrow. I hope it stays on schedule, I can't wait any longer!

MyUPS all weekend showed a delivery date for today between 11:15-3:15. Due to the 90 degree days this week, I didn't want to leave it outside in the heat. So, I changed my Monday plans for Tuesday. This morning the delivery date was changed to Tuesday. WTF! I can't really blame UPS because I am sure this is all due to Google's inability to handle a product launch.

Latest update with status. I called UPS and asked if I could pick the package up tonight from their main depot near my house and the UPS guy said you can only pick it up if the status says "Destination Scan" on it. Which essentially means that it has arrived at the distribution point closest to the delivery address. This is useful info. I am going to call and have them hold it at the depot the moment I see that status.
Received the email friday that it's shipping. Checked this morning and my Nexus 7 is in Louisville, KT. Which is nice, since it's a place I've never been.
Did I mention that I live about 30 minutes from Google HQ in NoCal.

I don't think I have ever seen the phrase "Updated To:" from a tracking number. It's almost as if the shipping was upgraded to the equivelant of Next Day.

It was ready for pickup last Wednesday at 6:20am!? I give up trying to figure it out. When the tablet is in my hands, I'll start to "heal".
I have that UPS choice thing and they offer to hold the package so you can pick up it up instead of having it delivered. Trouble is, the delivery is scheduled for Tuesday and they won't let you pick it up in person till Wednesday. So, that must mostly be useful for people who absolutely can't be home to sign for it and can't trust their neighbors. Thankfully, I am unemployed, so that is not a problem! NOTE: I need the tablet to notify me of job openings. I have been tablet-less since the last part of June. I could have had a paper route by now!
I received my notice today from UPS it'll be arriving tomorrow.
