Anyone without a case?

I usually rock my phone naked. occasionally, I will put it in a MNML case. However, I did install screen protector (Zagg Invisible Shield) because the coating wears off fast AND I can stand scratches on my screen.

Zagg was a good choice! It's good to have the screen protected! I too don't l Iike scratches on my screen.

I use the screen protector on the Pixel more for the fingerprints...I didn't like the smudges without one...my Note screen on the other hand is naked and doesn't smudge the same way ...just differences

I find it far too slippery like most phones, apart from the BlackBerries, which were beautifully designed. I use the fabric case on this one which looks nice.

I agree about BlackBerry devices - a case was optional and never really needed.

Got my 4XL a few days ago and had a Spigen liquid armor waiting for it. I held it without a case long enough to put the Sim card in and it went straight into the case. The Spigen liquid armor is ok but it's a touch slippery which stinks because I've mostly rocked Spigen cases the last few years so I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and ordered a Speck presidio grip case that I'm excited for.

I can't risk going without a case, these things cost to much and are too slippery. From an engineering standpoint, glass is a really poor material choice. But it's all about the looks.

Absolutely. These OEM's persist in using this fragile and heavy material as opposed to something else like polycarbonate or rubber or even ceramic.

It really is form over function.

Yep, they insist it's "premium" or "industrial" or whatever other made up BS term they use and yet we end up putting plastic over it to protect it. Throw Ina bigger battery and a good MM of TPU with a grippy pattern and you have a better product. However people would buy phones less so that doesn't make business sense.

We don't even know that.

Of all the complaints people had about BlackBerry phones, no one ever criticized the rubbery back panels.

A lot of people dearly miss the Note 4 for the same reason.

I purchased Galaxy S10 Lite because it has flat screen, large battery and plastic back. Plastic is very light, slim and doesn't scratch.

Except for the DTEK60, the BINO (BlackBerry-in-Name-Only) with its treacherous glass back

Yeah, that's true... My Q10 was even good caseless. I miss that phone - truly revolutionary at the time. Touchscreen and keyboard together.

I may have been interested in that thing if it had similar dimensions as the S10e or Pixel 3/3a

But of course Samsung being Samsung, they had to make the thing gigantic (about as big as a Note 10+) and weighs 186g.

How is this thing "Lite" ?

Finally after a long of deliberation got this in sale today
