I usually rock my phone naked. occasionally, I will put it in a MNML case. However, I did install screen protector (Zagg Invisible Shield) because the coating wears off fast AND I can stand scratches on my screen.
I find it far too slippery like most phones, apart from the BlackBerries, which were beautifully designed. I use the fabric case on this one which looks nice.
Except for the DTEK60, the BINO (BlackBerry-in-Name-Only) with its treacherous glass backI agree about BlackBerry devices - a case was optional and never really needed.
Absolutely. These OEM's persist in using this fragile and heavy material as opposed to something else like polycarbonate or rubber or even ceramic. From an engineering standpoint, glass is a really poor material choice. But it's all about the looks.
Yep, they insist it's "premium" or "industrial" or whatever other made up BS term they use and yet we end up putting plastic over it to protect it. Throw Ina bigger battery and a good MM of TPU with a grippy pattern and you have a better product. However people would buy phones less so that doesn't make business sense.Absolutely. It really is form over function.

I purchased Galaxy S10 Lite because it has flat screen, large battery and plastic back. Plastic is very light, slim and doesn't scratch. We don't even know that.
Of all the complaints people had about BlackBerry phones, no one ever criticized the rubbery back panels.
A lot of people dearly miss the Note 4 for the same reason.

I may have been interested in that thing if it had similar dimensions as the S10e or Pixel 3/3aI purchased Galaxy S10 Lite because it has flat screen, large battery and plastic back. Plastic is very light, slim and doesn't scratch.
