anyones phone hang up during calls?

My wife is ready to throw her phone because it seems to hang up a lot during calls. I seen her just talking and the she is all "hello, hello" and gets mad. I know the screen turns off when on call as I cover the sensor to see. I'm not sure if for some reason the screen kicks on and her cheeck hangs it up but she loves the phone but hates this one detail. I told her to lock the phone on call but then its a pain to get the scree back on, I guess that's a glitch also.

Hmm, I haven't run into this (or heard of anyone with the problem), but I also make it a point to hold the phone away from my cheek a little. Even so, the screen should go off after a little while, so you shouldn't be able to accidentally hang it up.

This could be purely signal related? I've stressed calling a fair bit (holding right against my face), no hangups or reboots. Though a sexy compromise would be to get her some music-grade bluetooth action...
