Anyone's phone shipping yet?

Google is pushing out the phones now. Got my unlocked 512 2 days ago and love it so far.

So I just got an email from google about my trade in kit that I will be receiving in 7 days. This usually comes right before the phone does? My delivery date still says Dec 8-9.

I got the email about my trade in after I received my Pixel 6, so I'm not sure.

I just got the email also. It's for my original Oct 19 preorder of the 6 Pro. Hopefully this means our phones are about to ship. As I stated, it was different with my Pixel 6.

Edit: I stand corrected. I went back and found my Pixel 6 shipping email, and it came after my trad in email.

Mine just changed back to the 17-18, after it had went from the 17-18 to the 19-20. How long before it ships do you get a shipping notice? Is it a two-day shipping or a longer period?

Well, mine just dropped back a day or two, and in the past two days, received a email from Google stating: Pixel 6 Pro is back.

Just in: Pixel 6 Pro is back in stock.
and when I take the link to the google site it states the cloudy white 128gb is in stock.

So why is my ordered P6P keep going backwards from the deliver date when they show the phones in stock? (And I understand no one here can answer that, I'm just ranting.)

However, if someone from google reads this, understand, I started back shopping for a S21 last night after receiving that ludicrous email; no decisions made...yet!

We are some of the last people from the early preorder who are still waiting for our 6 pro. The charge for my 6 pro 128GB has completely dropped off in my Google store financing account. Now that I've received my trade in email, hopefully this is a good sign.

It's amazing how preordering a phone on launch day, a few hours after someone who preordered the same day results in such a massive difference in shipping.

Fingers crossed, It seems I may be getting the phone on my original delivery estimate of Nov 17-18 so I can't really complain. I'm thankful to able to have a Pixel 6 to play with while I wait.

Just got my phone yesterday! Didn't think it would be that different from my Pixel 4XL, then held the P4XL after setting up the P6Pro and could tell the difference. Amazing how fast you get use to a larger phone.

It's no Nexus 6, but I'm loving it!

I was not a launch day purchaser, it started on Nov 4. I was slow to react and order due still being up in the air over a S21 Ultra and the Pixel 6.
My problem with this entire process is Google and how they are handling the ordered phone situation.

When I placed the order on Nov 4, I was given an delivered date of Jan 20-21 NOT A PROBLEM

Then on Nov 6 a new dates were shown as Jan 19-21 again not a problem and yea nice to see it is sooner

Then on Nov 7 a big drop down to Dec 9-10 getting closer....I LIKE IT

Then Nov 8 a BIG drop down to Nov 17-18 A WEEK AWAY

Then on Nov 10 boosted up toe Nov 19-20 wrong direction, but still not a problem; Except for emails saying they are now IN STOCK (I had placed myself at one time on a waitlist at google) so why is the period getting longer?

Then on Nov 11 back down to Nov 17-18

And this AM it is now a date of Dec 8-9 AND ANOTHER EMAIL STAYING THEY ARE IN STOCK

Do these morons understand how stupid this all looks?

Telling me they are in stock, but slipping my delivery back to from a week to almost a month?

Well, again if someone from Google reads this....

First, understand it is not just me, it is probably happening to many who do not even come to this forum. Second, it has me sitting here saying to myself is this BS of the moving delivery date worth it when I can easily order a S21 Ultra, 128gb for $999.00 on an early Black Friday sale and have it in about three days.

Yes, I want the Pixel, but NO I do not want this BS on shipping to be a moving target impossible to hit with something short of a 500 pound bomb. They tell me Dec 8-9 today, what the heck will it be tomorrow?

I have come close to deciding that if it is not delivered by Black Friday and I can find a S21 for the same price $899.00, I will cancel and order the S21 and get over it. It is not the price, it is the aggravation and (yea) the suspense and the complete BS from those people.

Just me, and I'm done ranting....

Did they indicate the exact item you ordered (same storage, color, and carrier/unlocked) as being in stock? If so, you're rightfully upset. Just wondering as I could easily see them emailing about any version being back in, in the event people who had signed up for notifications might be open to a slight variation.

Does it, in fact state, “cloudy white google Pixel 6 pro, 128 gb?” No. It states,

"Pixel 6 Pro is back.
Just in: Pixel 6 Pro is back in stock.”

Nonetheless, email was from the Google store “WAITLIST” and since the only item I had in my Google waitlist was a cloudy white 6 pro, 128 gb it was a just supposition that the cloudy white google Pixel 6 Pro 128gb phone is what the email was representing as a fact. When in fact, it was exemplifying a complete fallaciousness.

Therefore, whether someone believes this gives me a reason to be upset about this or not is inconsequential. That email should NOT have been sent to someone on a waitlist if it was not in fact IN STOCK.

As I stated earlier, I had NO PROBLEM with the original deliver date of Jan January 20-21. That was the date when ordered, if I was not comfortable with that date; cancel and move on to another phone. I spent considerable time deciding between a S21 Ultra and the Pixel 6 Pro finally deciding on the Pixel cause I liked the looks, the feel, and the overall experience with the 4XL (including battery life), so I decided on the Pixel 6 Pro.

Obviously, I had no problem with the date being moved up to Nov 17-18; however, the date eventually started going in the wrong direction, from Nov 17-18 to Nov 19-20, then back to Nov 17-18 and then to Dec 8-9; the date the “in stock” email was received.

Yesterday, I had a long online chat with a Google store employee (or employee of a third company acting as a representative of Google) and that person explained to me I was not the first to complain; far from it. The emails should NOT have been sent out, it was not correct to send out emails of items being in stock when there were NO Pixel 6 Pros in stock (of any color or version of storage; thus, “slight variation” was not a consideration of the email) that were not already scheduled for delivery from a previous sale.

These emails are being reported to appropriate personnel to stop them from upsetting the Google customers and also cut on requested chats.
Nevertheless, it makes me start to contemplate WTF is happening at google? Send out a second OS upgrade of Android 12 by mistake, then send out an update to the Pixel 6 to remove magic eraser in the same week, then send out “in stock” emails to people on a waitlist when nothing is in stock for immediate sale? Really, is this their new standard?

I still want the Pixel phone; however, in all honestly I have made a decision. On Black Friday I am either going to have a Pixel 6 Pro, cloudy white in my hands or I will be ordering a Samsung S21 Ultra and then keep whatever phone arrives first. The other phone will be returned; conceivably, as received without opening the package.

End of discussion. I have expressed my views, many will disagree as is their right. It is currently 3:15AM; I am heading out for a nice long cold, quiet walk with my dogs in the woods of Idaho. Hope there are no typos; it is early.

Added notation: Slipped back another day to Dec 9-10. Beginning to believe Google has no idea what they are doing in the shipping dept. I have never seen any item I have ordered have a deliver (or ship) date change from a shorter period to a longer period of receipt in my entire life.

My Pixel 6 pro (128GB cloudy white) has shipped! :)

My Pixel Pro 128GB Cloudy White was charged to VISA yesterday - not due to be delivered until 11/30 - interesting

@quet - may your Pro have a safe, fast, and uneventful journey from Google to you!

That does appear to be early to charge. Wonder if they charge ahead of time to, hopefully, stop the person from getting upset an cancelling the order?
Like already stated, hope it gets to you safely with an uneventful journey.

I thought about this too - I ordered this phone 12 times and cancelled 11 in the quest for the earliest delivery - I expect Google to offer me a top of the line Samsung phone if I promise not to order any more Pixels.

Seems like the quoted delivery schedule is pretty volatile. Normally they would process payment at such time as your order was ready to be fulfilled (phone assigned for shipping from actual in-stock inventory) - hopefully you receive an initial shipping notification sometime today!

Everything is pretty volatile in today's world - was talking to a guy who works in a local car dealership, they can't get oil for customer oil changes - shortage of school bus drivers in my local area - I've seen some trucking companies offering awesome salaries for drivers.

We may be getting a taste of what it is like to live in a 3rd world country.
