Anyone's phone shipping yet?

I have a theory and it is only a theory that some phones will be slipped back for shipping so that Google can supply some to large retail outlets for the upcoming Black Friday sales. Not saying they will be on sale, just giving supply to the retailers to sell. I'm sure Google has some agreements with some of the large retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, BH, etc., and wants to keep them happy; while not giving a dump about the single customers ordering via the Google store. And from a business standpoint, I understand this. From a customer's point of view...it sucks.

I am not the type of person who believes in conspiracy theories (other than those I have been involved in). But if suddenly a bunch of retailers get a sudden supply of the most popular model Pros (cloudy white, 128gb) my theory might grow some legs. If not, then my theory is a pile of bull pucky.

Everything is pretty volatile in today's world - was talking to a guy who works in a local car dealership, they can't get oil for customer oil changes - shortage of school bus drivers in my local area - I've seen some trucking companies offering awesome salaries for drivers.

We may be getting a taste of what it is like to live in a 3rd world country.

Yes, vehicle dealers are hurting from having to hire sales people who are not trained, to long wait times for new vehicles. A few weeks ago I cancelled an order for a F250 Kings Ranch Truck and went down the road and ordered a Denali HD and hopefully, it will be here before camping season starts up. If not, I'll have to use my old 2018 GMC, but I'll survive.

As for a third world country. I have l lived in a few countries most would consider third world, and that simple life has some advantages.

Well, T-Mobile told me through tforce that my cloudy white 6 pro is being delayed another month to 12/21, anyone else getting pushed back shipping dates?

When did you order that's ridiculous. I should've cancelled my order for the cloudy white too and changed to the black, but I've been waiting this long that I feel like when I cancel they will start shipping. Never known T-Mobile too be so bad with shipping dates. They usually over estimate the shipping time frame.

I just did a check and the black 128gb Pro would be delivered next Wednesday if ordered today; whereas the white one I ordered still shows Dec 9.

I'M OUT...CANCELLED THE ORDER (Tired of the date moving, this AM showed Dec 9-10, when I went to cancel it was changed to Dec 11-12. NOT ACCEPTABLE.)

Too many bugs at this time, just reading reviews, and complaints, not just here but all over the net; makes me believe Google has to step forward and do some revisions; likely, most are fixable via software updates but are they, and if or when will Google step up and fix or at least announce a fix is coming? Last thing I want is to go from a phone that is working great (4XL) to one that possibly could have bugs that will make me launch the phone into a big tree or use for target practice out back.

Biggest problem I see may not be fixed via a software update; the FPS. I purchased a S20 when it was first released and the FPS on that was terrible; 90 percent of the time it took numerous attempts to unlock I returned it. I heard it was eventually "somewhat" fixed with software updates. I then eventually moved to the 4XL. (Found out later that the software update made it better but not good, and that the big fix was a need to replace the small sensor to one that was a heck of a lot larger; however, that fix was done on the S21.) Don't want that nightmare again.

So I will just sit back and watch this forum and other Pixel 6 forums, read newer reviews, etc., and see if Google steps forward and releases some updates to fix the issues but, I'm not holding my breath.

I hope this proves to be true - as of 7:30 AM on the 16th it has not shipped yet - looks like tomorrow for delivery

I gave up on getting this phone. I found out yesterday the color and storage space ( 256GB ) will not be released for some unknown time , no specific date just speculation on when that will be. Odd that one color of the Pixel Pro was not released with same storage is the others in the Pro line up. Google has always had issues with shipping pre orders out ,,this year was just a little worse then average from what I read for others as well.

So am I mad, no. But I am disappointed . I loved the Nexus / Pixel line of phones was the only android phones I used since 2016.

Now they're just being cruel. I ordered mine on October 22nd from the Google store and the delivery date had been bouncing around wildly. Last week it seemed to settle on an expected delivery of the 17th or 18th and was still there when I bed last night. I woke up this morning hoping I'd see it shipped some time today but instead the delivery date has been moved back to the 24th - 26th.

Wow, that's really fast. I hope it ships soon.

My phone has shipped, and has a delivery date of Nov 18. At first it said Nov 17 as an early delivery, but changed back the 18th. This is all from FedEx and not Google. My Pixel 6 shipping info was the same way, but I still ended up getting it early.

Sorry to hear that. My dates moved around also, but I'm actually getting the phone on the dates they initially said. Do you remember, when you ordered the phone; was the delivery date initially Now 24-26?

Mine initially said Nov 17-18 but, at one point moved all the way up to Nov 4-5. Once it started moving around more, while still excited; I just really expected the later date.

I think Google should have kept the delivery dates what they were when ordered, and not moved them around. It would have been a much better preorder experience for customers, by under promising and over delivering. The site malfunctions didn't help either.

I forgot, and ordered my iPhone 13 Pro max later in the morning, and my ship date was about as long as this Pixels 6 pro ship date.

The Google store website malfunctions was the biggest frustration for me personally. I was trying to order the phone right before the Google keynote ended, and couldn't keep a phone in my cart.

As a tech company they have the resources to make their website just as stable as Apple, I would think. I've never experienced anything like that when ordering an iPhone. You just have to get up early enough for preorder.

I think the first date was early December but it has jumped around so much that I'm not sure.

Been ordering from Google one device or another nearly annually for the past 10 years, and while nearly every year has had some congestion/sluggishness, this was the first full-out meltdown of the system.

I struggled with getting the items in the cart, then to checkout, then trying to complete that for about 2 1/2 hours from when ordering first opened till I ended up hopping over to Amazon and just ordering one there - though when I revisited Google's site a couple of hours later, I was able to complete the order with a "confirmed" delivery date only a week after launch - vs Amazon not giving any indication - so finished that and canceled the Amazon order. I was fortunate to actually receive mine (P6 Pro White 256GB) a couple of days earlier than estimated.

Not an excuse for Google, but when Apple preps their online store for preorders, it knows to anticipate what's likely in the millions and has years of experience based on introduction of generally incremental upgrades with static levels of advertising; Google probably anticipated in the thousands or tens of thousands, but for all intents and purposes essentially launched a whole new product line this year, given it's their first product with a homegrown SOC supported by other components that (for the most part) don't compromise on their ability to provide what is widely perceived as a 'flagship' experience. Add to that the unprecedented level to which they invested in advertising, along with the far-lower-than-expected pricing, and no matter where Google projected initial orders to range, the potential for Google's estimations to be dwarfed by the reality remained far higher than that for Apple.

Hopefully next year they'll over-invest in prepping the site to where, if anything, they have 'too much' capacity.

Going to the Google store now and ordering the same phone - 128GB P6P White Google Fi carrier - shows a del date of Nov 18-19 - they must have stock to be keeping the same del time frame.
The unlocked version - non-Google Fi - has a Dec 14-15 del date.

I have no idea what the difference in the phones is - BUT - I'm betting a sim from another carrier would work in the Fi phone

Ordering the same phone from the Google Fi site gives a 12/8-9 del date

If you can follow all this - call a therapist right now - :D

Mine is a Fi version. Google Fi is my carrier, but I usually buy the unlocked phones if possible. This time around, I didn't have a choice, if I wanted a phone. I'm hoping it comes with a new Fi sim installed, because they're usually the most updated Sim cards.

I believe the Fi phones are still unlocked, but not sure, since I haven't been on a regular carrier for awhile.
