Anyone's phone shipping yet?

Google must be trying to get the phones out. My unlocked 512gb now says Nov. 9-10.

Under promise, over deliver. Apple does that with iPhone launches. You get a very conservative delivery estimate and there is room to bump the dates up. Who doesn't like that surprise email with a sooner delivery date?

Yeah, that's what I love about them.

Got an email about being removed from the Google wait-list as they are allowing orders in the previously out of stock options now. Hope this means my best buy order shows up sooner than later.

I just got that email too even though it's never sent when they have ordering available as I ordered mine on the 1st. I went to the site for kicks and it's all waitlisted except the 128gb sizes.

I guess it would always be more beneficial to state a shipping date beyond what would "most likely" be the shipping date if supply and manufacturing is questionable. And especially in this day-and-age of shipping problems, manufacturing problems.

I know, I prefer to be told something I ordered will be here sooner than originally stated.

And now, another update...
P6P delivery date has been changed to Nov 17-18. Hopefully, they keep this up....

Better than the alternative. Look at how many of us took to this forum (and probably others) to complain about the deliver by date. Then it ships early and you are excited.

The opposite, a short deliver by date but then it gets delayed. People would be even more outraged. Google chose correct.

I think I mentioned it already in this thread that mine was supposed to ship December 10th after I ordered the morning of November 2nd. No big deal, that'll give me time to get everything for it before it arrives.

Then, Saturday the 6th, I got a shipping notice for my 6P from Verizon and was totally shocked. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow BUT I won't be home to sign for it and Verizon will only accept an in person signature which is good but I have no idea how or when I'll actually get it since I'll be at work everyday this week when they try to deliver. There's also no option to change delivery to my office either. Probably won't even get the phone until Friday because I have to wait for the UPS dude to leave a note and go by whatever it says.

Since Thursday is a holiday, I'm guessing I won't be able to get it until Friday.

So, I contacted Google Chat services last Friday, and inquired about my P6P 512 gig. Today, Google sent me delivery information. My phone is scheduled for delivery 10 NOV, it was checked in at Schaumburg IL., I live in Los Angeles.

I guess there is no central place the phones ship from. My P6P 512gb shipped from Rancho CUCAMONGA yesterday. I live in Atlanta.

That is odd, Rancho Cucamonga is a 45 minute drive from me. I wonder what the reasoning is. It seems fiscally wasteful, to make deliveries cross country, as well as not being the most green way to go about it.

That's interesting. I live near Atlanta and all my stuff comes from Carol stream Indiana. I recently bough the new Nest floodlight cam, and it shipped from Rancho Cucamonga.

While they probably maintain stock of the more commonly sold devices in multiple warehouses, I'd bet that items for which there will be relatively lower demand (like your 512GB P6P) are easier to manage from a single location.

I'm glad to see everyone's getting their phones. My Sprint ordered 6 Pro Black is still unchanged at Nov 29-Dec 10. I'll achieve enlightenment before getting this phone at this rate
