anything better than nexus 7 for the price?

anyone got the nexus 7 and comment on its wifi web scene only. I dont have any interest in books ,mags,movies ets...NONE.... just web browsing,
can any other 7 inch do better with web for 200$???

NO... the nexus runs chrome for android out the box and there are a other browsers in the play store if you want something like Firefox etc. Also with its hardware its superfast loading and running most apps.

Not any 7" I've tried unless you are needing Flash. Its fast, zooms well and has pretty accurate touch points.

I've tried: Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, Galaxy Tab 7 Plus, Blackberry Playbook, HTC Evo View 4G, Motorola Xyboard 8.2.

If you aren't worried about apps and need flash, then I would also consider a Blackberry Playbook. Or just get a Nexus 7 and add flash if you are into rooting.

Get used to being without flash, it's pretty much dead on mobile and it's dying on desktop due to the advent of HTML 5

You can always sideload Flash. It works just fine on Jelly Bean with the default Android browser, but not Chrome. If you do a search a lot of people on JB are sharing the apk to sideload it.

If you are just using it for web browsing, then I think the $200 8GB Nexus 7 can't be beat.

EDIT: I've done quite a bit of searching and I can't find a tablet of ANY kind, Android, iPad or Windows with the specs of the Nexus 7(or even close) for $199 or $249 depending on memory.

The nexus 7 is the best! It'll get updates first too. Probably for the next two major versions of Android or longer. for the price its almost a no brainer.
