Anyway to keep watch face on longer while looking at it?

When I tilt my wrist to look and my watch the display goes off after a few seconds. I've changed the display timeout but that does not seem to help at all. Is there a setting or trick that I'm missing somewhere?

I would like the display to stay on a little longer while looking at the watch.

No way for it to know how long you are looking at it like the phone but you can always increase your screen timeout.
