Alright, so I'm coming to the Droid from an iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS. I never noticed my finger sticking to the screen on the iPhones being an issue, I could always easily glide my finger across the glass to swipe and scroll. However, with the Droid I feel like my finger is constantly "sticking" to the screen, like it's just not slick enough, it's grabbing at my finger. It's a lot better when my fingers are really dry, but like I said, 2 years with an iPhone and I never noticed this problem, any ideas on how to make the screen slicker? Anyone else at least agree with my opinion so I know I'm not crazy?

Wash your hands. I notice after I wash mine not only do they feel not so sticky but the screen feels nice and smooth as well plus its good hygiene.

Eat french fries! :) j/k

Sorry... couldnt resist. But I think a decent screen protecter may help with this.

I have the screen protector from Verizon, and that helps a lot. I've never had a problem with the screen being sticky.

iKlear - I use the Apple Polish, same stuff I use on my iPhone and Macbook Pro. Works perfectly.

I have the HTC Eris, no screen protector and my screen feels 100 times "slicker" than the BB Storm I used to have.

i have the verizon screen protector too - i've not had a problem with sticky screens. my friend has the invisishield from zagg on his iphone. it's a better screen protector, but i don't like the texture of it. always feels like someone just rubbed his face oils on the screen :P so i stayed with the vzw protector

I agree whole heartedly! I have the same problem. Dry hands = great touch experience, clammy hands = sticky. You are not alone.

And where my good friend would be the ideal establishment to obtain said miracle product lol. No but seriously, I've never heard of that stuff. I'd like to look into getting some. How often do you have to reapply?

I'm kinda curious now...what kind of screen protectors does everyone swear by? i'm using the vzw one only because i liked the texture of it better than zagg's (technically I haven't tried zaggs on droid tho...only iphone). is there one out there that ppl like better? vzw's screen works... but it did scratch rather easy

I see that Amazon sells iKlear, but it's not clear (pardon the pun) whether it's a screen cleaner or a screen conditioner or both. Cleaning my Droid screen is easy (fog it with your breath and rub it on your shirt), but a coating that would make it more smudge resistant would be nice.
