AOD...GONE?

I'm new to the S7E, and I know the AOD fades and brightens, but it just went off...like I couldn't see it at all. Is that normal? Does it have a timer where it comes back eventually? Or is this a glitch with my phone? BTW, I've only seen this one time...so maybe it's an anomaly...

This happened to me on my first day with my phone last week. It just wouldn't turn on even though I had it turned on in settings. I eventually had to factory reset to get it back

Mine has done this every once in a while. But 99% of the time, it's there.

Like others, this happens with mine as well. Only since the last AOD update. Push the lock/unlock button and works again.

I'm starting to think it was a random occurrence. I've had the phone 3 weeks now, and this is the first thing that got my attention in a negative way. It's easily the best smartphone I've had out of 6 so far. Luckily, they've all gotten progressively better.

I discovered that that AOD doesn't work when power saving mode is switched on - new phone for me lol
