AOD/ Night time edge clock

On the Note 7 the AOD automatically switched to an edge clock at night. I really like that as my nightstand clock. I have not been able to figure out where the setting is for that on my Note 8. Any clues where that setting might be?

PS Unrelated but I really like the new placement of the fingerprint sensor. Was worried because of all the uproar but it works beautifully for me.

On the S8+ it is... Settings>lock screen and security >aod. Probably the same on N8, give it a try...

I don't buy it. It SHOULD be under display. Only reason I even found it last night was BECAUSE I wasn't looking for it.

Sammy is still out to lunch over the N7 debacle. that they even recovered and produced a worthy successor is a surprise and happy making. maybe they'll fix it in an update. definitely a strange location.

It was one of my favorite features of the Note 7 (and then S7 Edge), and I don't believe it exists on the Note 8. Very disappointing.

I think that's what the OP was looking for, and this was the feature I was referring to. The Note 8 has lots of AOD features, but this one in particular seems to be gone.

yes. no edge clock. never had it, so don't miss it, but can see where it might be cool and useful

that would be good, as may reduce total light when sleeping, and time visible on edge from bed when lying down and phone flat
