AOD notification

Hi all. I downloaded this app but can it to work on my ATT S23 ultra. I want it to:

light up around the selfie dot while the screen is asleep until I unlock phone

What settings would make this happen

I believe AOD Notify only works if AOD is actually turned on in Settings. Otherwise, the screen is completely off when timed out, and the app can't light up a ring around the camera hole.

The stock edge lighting in in settings>notification>notification pop up style>edge lighting style tap but need to be in brief not detail but AOdnotfy is more customization
