I've watched it for hour and it doesn't move. It had an update last night. I feel pretty certain.

Just been having a little look online for similar issues. S9 is really new so not really anything to report but quite a few with the S8's that had concerns. TMO customers seems to be a pattern too?

I have Sprint. Yeah, I'm sure it's just because the phone has only been out for a few weeks and that's why there's probably nothing on the AOD clock not moving. If it's moving. It's moving so slow that I can't tell because it pretty much looks like it stays in the same spot for a long time. Without moving up or down. And like what @r511 said, the only time I see it move from a different position is if I was doing stuff on my phone and then let screen go to sleep then it moves to a different spot.

Wow! After reading this, I changed my brightness for AOD to the lowest brightness. I don't think I've noticed a screen burn in yet so that's good.

How do you change the brightness on AOD? It appears to adjust automatically.

There is an auto brightness setting in the AOD settings.
