AOL email

My mother in law recently got an sgsii and wants to synch her AOL email with it. Problem is, when she goes to accounts and sync there is no option for an email account, and when she opens the email app, it shows her gmail account. Anyone seen issues like this? Part of the problem is I'm doing all the troubleshooting over the phone. Any input would be great.

Is she using the stock email app?

<edit> assuming she's using the stock app, she can run the stock "email" app, then press on where it says "Gmail" up at the top left. That will bring up the current accounts, which should just be Gmail. Then, hit the menu capacitive button and select, add account.
