AOSP browser question

I use thundershed 1.4 aosp cyanogen 7.2 rom. It flies.

LTE and 3G both work fine.

I have noticed an odd problem in the browser. I just noticed that even with a strong 4G signal I cannot log in or out of google in 4G. I can surf the web. Sign in to other websites. Do anything a browser does in 4G except sign in or out of google. If I drop down to 3G I can sign in or out of Google with no difficulty.

Any ideas? I'm baffled. It isn't really a huge problem but it just doesnt make any sense to me at all.

Now 4G sign in works again.....weird. No idea if it is the rom, weak 4G, Google servers, or VZW messing around again.
