AOSP Keyboard

Anyone know of any way to get the AOSP keyboard installed on the EVO without putting on a custom ROM? I like to keep my stock ROM (without root) running, but would really like to get the AOSP keyboard. I've tried Better Keyboard, but that keeps on having issues with the HTC setup. I don't need the arrows...

i don't know if this is any different then AOSP keyboard, but here is the stock Gingerbread keyboard, the best I've tried. it's better then the normal android keyboard.

I will give it a shot. It is updated, I hope it is decent. It should be the same as it is stock. The stock keyboard is exactly what I was looking for.

The Gingerbread keyboard is the new stock keyboard. So when you say the stock keyboard that's the latest version of it.
