[AOSP] LIQUIDSMOOTH-v1.25

I really don't see how the V6 could make 1.3 any better anyway.

I have flashed the 1.3 v6 and it's not difficult at all, it does take a few minutes to run.
Once you run it I notice that its almost impossible to have an redraws with the bulletproof launcher. Keeps it in memory and also keeps the minimum free memory count really high. One downside is Widgets. I can't seem to run more then 3, so if your heavy on Widgets don't run V6.

Question! Anyone running 1.3 have a problem with missed notification icons on the top bar not showing?? If I leave the phone alone when I come back it does not show any missed icons on the top, but the led blinks and it still makes a sound. It will also scroll the notification at first but nothing shows after?

In my own experience, the v6 did more harm than good. I got several SoDs and random reboots. And I have used this mod on my old Droid x and never had a single problem.

Sorry to hear that it never worked for ya. But I don't have the v6 on 1.3 at the moment. So far, so good here.

Great ROM so far! One issue for me. Any of you guys having any issues using custom mp3 for ring tones? In the sound settings when I select the ringtone, it won't play a preview. When I receive a call it plays a random tone. Any ideas? TIA.....

Can someone tell me if there is a fix yet for the issue where downloaded images appear greyed out when viewing in gallery?

Ok took the plunge two nights ago, not as bad as I thought it would be ( I used Wugs to root and unlock) , just a lot of time resetting ring tones, email accounts, etc, (unless I missed a step or something like using the back up file??) I did the Liquid Smooth 1.3 and the extras file too. Phone makes calls and receives, I get emails, gapps working. Think I am good to go.
Inserted a screenshot of "about phone" can someone check and make its correct.

I only have to do the radio file when I get some time.

Thanks to all that put so much time into this. Only issue as I write this is there seems to be a lag sometimes when I try to slide the lock on the main screen.

Temple Run works perfect for me and so does the camera. Make sure you flashed the extras, and if so then I would flash the rom again and make sure you wipe everything.

yes did the nandroid back up- so for this Liquid rom do the same type of nandroid back up- and should name like Liquid so I know the difference.

When I do the radio flash, all I need to do is flash to clockwork correct?

Correct. You can also flash them/install them via fastboot. But if you download the radios in the form of a "flashable zip" that's all you need. Follow zero's radio thread, it's brilliant.

^ i'll put together a fastboot radio flash section in there, just need an empty block of time to write it out.

Good. Until you do, I'll still keep the old link for the fastbooters. Also, someone needs to do a guide on fastbooting for the Mac, in part b/c I want to do it more, and in part b/c there's only so much fastbooting my fiancee will let me do on her HP lol

man it's soo easy on a mac. I mean, installing fastboot on a mac is easier.

Aside from that everything is basically the same, the commands that is.

PM me a linky? I'm not even sure if I have it set up lol

3.5 is out over at Rootzwiki!!! They fixed the Google Wallet, deep sleep issues, and have the latest Francos Kernel.

Doing backup of Bugless Beast, leaving it for 1st time to try Liquidsmooth. Crossing fingers, hope all goes well.
