New Droid user here, well I had an HTC Droid incredible for one month once, Iphone 3GS for years and i Just picked up an AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket which i upgraded from Gingerbread to Ice Cream last night, I've been looking locally for the AT&T Straight Talk sim card and cant find any.

My question is, when i do find a card and go to set this phone up, the link in those settings "http://mmsc.cingular.com/" doesn't go anywhere when i put it in my browser on my PC, is it still used or has it changed to something else since you made this post?

That isnt supposed to be a link. That's just what u put in the MMSC field in the APN settings. So where it shows MMSC in the APN settings it should be
Http://mmsc.cingular.com

Thanks for the info, i just read Jellybean is available and been reading up on Rooting, this is getting addictive :-) just need a sim card to get this up and running.

Just got my sim card today and was reading the instructions, i noticed the info that came with the card for the APN settings shows a proxy setting of "Proxy.mvno.tracfone.com" and the settings above says to leave it blank? just wanting to make sure i have the info i need before i start the activation process. Thanks.

ended up just using the APN settings that came with the card and everything is working fine, talk, text and web, sending and receiving pictures works fine, my skyrocket shows the 4G signal but speedtest.net is only showing 8kbps down and around 500 kbps up. WTF?

Take out the proxy part.the only app I've seen that doesn't work unless the proxy is blank is the speedtest app. Without it everything still works properly
