App ads with children

I'll start by saying this: I actually do buy the apps I use where a paid version is available.

Here is my issue, on many games, even after I paid for them, there are still ads all over the place. Not so much sponsor ads but ads from the game devs asking me to buy more of their stuff. These ads that I am speaking of are pop ups - where after a round of a game the ad pops up (angry birds by the way is an excellent example of this) and you can't do anything in the game until you either go to the play store to buy the app or press the ignore button and it happens all the time.

children games on my wifes iPad have function to disable the ability to go to the app store. I don't know if that's something iOS devs think of on their own or if it's a standard that apple has in their app store for kids apps....

whatever the case is there any kind of functionality like that in the android universe?

Is you are asking this in the rooting and roms section you should be aware of apps like ad away and ad free

No,you did not misread that

Hi soundtrack,

thanks. I actually do know about ad away but I wanted to steer away from asking about that app directly (but I figured whatever the answer would be, it would involve rooting). At any rate, I thought that app was specific to banner-style ads from third-parties rather than preventing pop-ups from the developer. An app like that blocks the pop ups too?

Ad away or ad free should help, ad blocker would help if you are getting notification ads

You can add a required pin to buy anything in the play store, that'll at least stop them from going crazy in there buying stuff. It's under settings when you open the store.

That won't help when it interrupts their game but I don't think an ad blocker will either, hasn't for me.
