App called Finger Security locked up phone when trying to delete

I tried to delete Finger Security that I have used for sometime on my Note 4. After taking it off Device Administrator shows "Unfortunately, FingerSecurity has stopped" on main screen but will not allow me to go to any other screen or any app. When I click on any app the screen blinks and comes back to the above message. Any way to access anything on phone or will I have to find a way restore phone? Thanks.

Start your phone in Safe Mode and then try uninstalling the app again.

Hi,

The behavior that you were experiencing is a security feature. When FingerSecurity is disabled as a device administrator via the settings of your device you are required to scan your fingerprint before you can do anything else. You were probably using the "fake crash" option so that is why you kept seeing the message that FingerSecurity had stopped.

To prevent FingerSecurity from blocking your device like this you should disable the "advanced security" option in the settings of FingerSecurity.

thanks nahoku! you saved my time. I removed my device fingerprint and then i try to open fingersecurity, it now says "no fingerprint" registered and most of the places like settings , play store I have locked and now no way to access it. I plan to reset the device and seen your post saying to safe mode and then deleted the fingersecurity app. thank you so much
