hi, after upgrade from kitkat to lolipop in my i9505 samsung s4 i have a lot of app crashes. After 1 month of upgrade a lot of apps just stop working in random time: gmail, samsung keyboard, skype and more. I have all apps in newest versions and dont know what is the reason. Do i need to restore factory settings ? I dont want to do it but if necessary ...

I would first suggest clearing cache of the apps. You can do this through system settings > applications. Or, you can access recovery and clear cache for everything: power off then hold volume down+home+power on. Use volume down to highlight clear cache (not reset) and power to accept. Reboot and see if that helps.

ok ill try with cache, i want to reset phone to factory settings but i have for example vpn application for my work that generates tokens to access, and i cant do it now. But i can tell u that i have more and more problems with android, so problably soon i will do it...

ok first of all we need to use volume up btn to acces recovery mode, where are options u mentioned. Volume btn down runs menu when u can download some custom os - odin or sth (i dont exactly know what is it). But my question is, i see samsung logo and blue text recovery mode, but it is quickly closing and i cant run recovery mode. Someone knowes why ? Maybe because of 10% battery?

I had similar problems with few apps after update to lollipop.
For me the solution was to reinstall those apps.
