It's impossible to determine exactly the age of a person by the only appearance, because aging processes are strictly related to lifestyle and many others individual factors, and there isn't a unique formula that you can apply to everyone, but there are common traits that can help to determine a likely raw range.
Well, the latest feature introduced by IAT and IAFace (a new App of the IAT series) adds an automatic feature to estimate the raw age range analyzing with deep neural networks the facial traits associated with aging processes.
The function is still experimental and is particularly challenged by factors such as excessive presence of facial fat typical of overweight subjects (it tends to "stretch the skin" by masking wrinkles and facial details) and makeup, and there is wide room for improvement, but it can already be used with good results.
► Compare two faces to see the resemblance level between 2 persons analyzing the structural features of the two faces.
Did they tell you that you look like a famous model? Now you can find out how they shamelessly lied to you. Does the guy sitting opposite have a vague resemblance to an uncaught serial killer?
